So my boss told me we have a board meeting next week we need a webcam for one of the D's who was away but needed to attend the meeting, so I got this easy to set up, cheap, looks nice and 1080p it was perfect

Excellent image quality. But I have two issues. 1. The base/stand is awkward and doesn't fix the webcam well. I use the webcam to show a view from my window. in the end, I removed the stand (2 screws), epoxy-glued a suitable nut to the base and used a mini-tripod. 2. The focus drifts. When turned on, if you set the focus, after 10 minutes it needs re-focusing. It seems to be related to the camera heating up slightly when first connected. I compromised by focusing for the normal, connected state. This means that when first turned on the image is out-of-focus. During the first 10 minutes it drifts into focus and stays that way until I disconnect it later in the day. Photo is the webcam image.

The picture quality is adequate, and seems to be capable of outputting 1920x1080 at the stated frame rate. However, as others have mentioned, the camera drifts out of focus as it warms up. You can adjust this manually, but the focus will continue to drift until temperature is reached, when it stabilises. Think very carefully about your application for this before buying - it will be fine for long term filming, but utterly no good for use on-demand use such as video calls.

It’s great! It works really well in dimly lit rooms. I’m not an expert when it comes to webcams but have a look at the attached pictures and they should speak for themselves. (Apologies for the face that’s in it. And sorry to disappoint you ladies, but the person that face belongs to is not single) The darker image was taken using the built in camera on my Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The lighter one was taken using the AusdomFull HD 1080p Web Camera. On my surface pro running windows 10 was simply plug and play. I didn’t need to use the disc that came with the webcam. The USB cable length measures 143cm so plenty enough to reach the back of the PC under a desk. The stand is flexible enough to either mount behind a screen or on a desk/shelf. I tried to use this webcam but I wasn't satisfied at all. The quality of the screen is very poor and doesn't work properly. I bought this expecting that the camera will be a lor better than the laptop camera but in fact is worse. Tried to contact the seller and they weren't keen to help. I do not recommend.

Excellent webcam. Can vclip on to screen or sit pn tower. Excellent! And not expensive for the joy to see and hear someone far away! Skyping is free.by the way.b Of course you need first to arrange the appointment.

Good things: * The camera housing looks and feels good, i.e. the build quality is good. * The mounting is well designed; the rubberised double-goose-neck is strong but flexible, and the camera can rotate in 2 (but not 3) dimensions on the mount, which means that you can mount it in a wide variety of places. Bad things: * The audio quality is terrible. Or to quote my friend at the other end of Skype: "unusable". I also tried it on Google Hangouts with someone else and they also said that they couldn't hear me so I ended up having to switch to using my phone instead. * The video quality is a bit poor. It says it's 1080P/Full HD, and it probably sends that many pixels of data to the computer, but the image quality is not what I would call HD; it looks like a highly compressed jpeg image. The fact that it's manual focus as well doesn't help, so if you significantly change how far you are from the camera then you have to twist the lens to refocus it. Conclusion: If you just want the picture (not the sound), and you're staying at a reasonably fixed distance from the camera (e.g. sitting in a chair) then this is probably fine. But otherwise, don't bother. I've ordered a Logitech C960 instead, which is more than twice the price (but cheaper at PC World!) but I know that it's better because we use them at work.

Using this product to currently Skype my companies manager whilst he’s abroad! It’s great, it’s got perfect picture, inputs sound through the usb and is clear throughout! Would reccomend for the price!

A parte il fissaggio non proprio azzeccato (mentre il sistema di orientamento è OK), il resto soddifa benissimo lo scopo. Ottima risoluzione, ottima dinamica anche in ambiente scarsamente illuminato, ottima compensazione del bianco, audio (...dicono) ottimo. Messa a fuoco manuale (la considero un plus), geometria delle immagini senza distorsioni. Buon rapporto prezzo prestazioni. Funziona con Windows 10

He cambiado mi vieja webcam vga y la diferencia es exagerada en comparación, Además esta trae micrófono incorporado. La he instalado en windows 10 simplemente con conectarla y esperar un par de minutos. Luego he probado a hacer videollamada en Skype y se ve de maravilla. Eso sí, el enfoque no es automático y hay que girar la lente para que se vea nítido. El cable es largo y para acoplarla en la parte superior de la pantalla es muy cómodo, además tiene una articulación y una vez fijada se puede girar bastante.

Suffisante pour le prix, elle a une bonne définition avec son 1080p , avec la possibilité de régler le focus selon la distance de l'objectif.

Da meine PC-Monitore keine integrierte Kamera haben, und ich öfter mal bei Videokonferenzen dabei bin, habe ich diese Kamera gekauft. Die ist im unteren Preissegment für das, was sie leistet, und ich schreibe mal spontan, was mir dabei besonders aufgefallen ist: ○ Unter Windows 7 sind die Treiber bereits vorhanden. Kein Herunterladen oder Forschen danach, wird automatisch installiert. Plug & play ist das aber noch nicht ganz, weil auf einer Mini-CD die Software zur Kamerasteuerung (Weißabgleich, Zoom, Snapshot, usw. usf.) mitgeliefert wird. Optolaufwerke sind allerdings schon etwas antiquiert, speziell bei Notebooks :-). Möglicherweise kann man das irgendwo runterladen. Das habe ich nicht erforscht, weil ich ein externes CD-Laufwerk habe, hätte ich aber sicher vor dem Kauf, falls nicht. Nur wäre das wohl sinnlos bzw. teuer, einer "WEB"cam eine CD beizulegen, wenn man sich das ohnehin runteraden kann. Vielleicht erklärt das den eher geringen Preis. Für Windows 10 ist das übrigens auch (noch?) nicht zerzifiziert. ○ Die Auflösung der Kamera ist wohl tatsächlich 1080p, weil das im Fotomodus einstellbar und für mich nachvollziehbar ist. Die Videoauflösung ist allerdings, zumindest bei Windows 7, auf 720p beschränkt. Das dürfte aber nicht an der Kamera liegen, sondern am Betriebssystem, oder meiner Grafikkarte, oder meiner Beschränktheit, oder ... Bei Scannern habe ich Ähnliches schon erlebt, die eigentlich viel mehr "könnten". Mir aber egal, weil die Videokonferenz-Software das letzlich sinnvollerweise ohnehin auf viel kleiner runterrechnet. ○ DAS herausragende feature dieser Kamera ist für mich die wahlweise zuschaltbare Zoomsteuerung: Ein Gesicht wird erkannt, und wenn man sich z.B. zurücklehnt, wird automatisch so eingezoomt, dass das Gesicht möglichst formatfüllend aufgenommen wird. Der Autofokus geht dabei tadellos mit. Bei ruckartigen Bewegungen oder einem "unruhigen" Hintergrund kann's schon sein, dass sich der Autozoom quasi einschwingt. Ich mag die Funktion aber sehr, weil mein Gesicht, und nicht nur mein Scheitel von oben, immer noch sichtbar ist, wenn ich mich z.B. vorbeuge, um auf dem zweiten Monitor irgendwas zu bearbeiten. ○ Die Befestigung auf dem Monitor war für mich zunächst sowas wie ein 3D-Puzzle für Erwachsene :-). Angeklemmt werden kann dabei nämlich nichts, das würde auch den Bildschirm abdecken, und da die Kamera keinen Kugelkopf hat, sondern nur beschränkt schwenkbar ist, kommt man so nie auf einen grünen Zweig. Ist aber ganz einfach, ein Bild sagt mehr als tausend Worte, daher mein erstes Foto. ○ Mein zweites Foto gehört eigentlich nicht hierher, aber was mich bei Videokonferenzen sehr stört, ist dass man einander nicht gegenseitig in die Augen schauen kann. Ich habe einen meiner beiden Monitore hochkant gestellt. Abgesehen davon, dass das für viele Anwendungen viel übersichtlicher ist, und die Auflösung bei 1080p-Monitoren nun wirklich dafür geeignet ist, befindet sich die Kamera nicht "oben", sondern halbwegs im Blickfeld. ○ Die Steuerungssoftware kann man in den system tray legen, und per Mausklick hervorholen. Sehr gut ist die augenfällige, LED-artige Statusanzeige, mit der man den Videostream per Mausklick abdrehen kann. Auch sonst wäre da viel darüber zu sagen, es gibt volle Kontrolle oder Automatik für Dinge wie Weißabgleich, oder Hintergrundlichtabschwächung, zahllose Modi wie Schwarzweiß, Weichzeichner, usw. usf. Darüber möchte ich mich aber nicht weiter auslassen. ○ Was ich nicht getestet habe, ist das Mikrofon, weil ich ein High-Tech-Konferenzmikrofon um an die 100 € verwende. Das hat mehrere eingebaute Mikrofone mit entsprechender Richtcharakteristik und einen Signalprozessor, der das alles koordiniert. Ich nehme aber an, dass die Richtcharakteristik dieses Mikrofons hier einfach "taub" für Schall aus der nicht mehr unmittelbaren Umgebung ist, was ja auch sehr gut "noise cancelled" :-). Alles in allem gefällt mir das Ding sehr gut, und falls das "Nützlich" ist (Sie wissen schon, Mausklick :-)), werde ich das auch mit Windows 10 testen, und forschen, ob man dafür nun tatsächlich ein CD-Laufwerk braucht.

Ottima webcam con ottima qualità video con fuoco automatico, audio buono ma non ottimo, forse un caso ma a volte esce un po' metallico (non escludo possa essere un problema di connessione). Buono il sistema di aggancio o posizionamento, pratico in entrambi i casi Noto con dispiacere che il costo è lievitato enormemente dal mio acquisto ad ora (sarà causa del periodo Covid-19??), essendo rimasto molto soddisfatto volevo acquistarne un'altra ma il prezzo si è elevato di molto. Ci penserò Consiglio comunque l'acquisto per chi ha bisogno di una buona webcam Full HD 1080p/fps
