Acrylic socket surrounds are an attractive decoration for your home, whilst offering protection against wall finger marks.
Fitting is easy, generally the light switch fitting does not need to be unwired to install the finger plate. However please consult a qualified electrician to advise on isolating the mains electricity before attempting to unscrew the socket.

These surrounds are an ideal solution for preventing unly finger marks around your switches and sockets and will also add that finishing touch to any room. Socket or Light Switch Surrounds are a stunning design feature for your home design. Unlike other types you can buy, our finger plates are ed behind the switch without any adhesive, so no nasty sticky tape to mess around with. They can be removed leaving no trace on the wall. To fit, remove the 2 screws from the fitting and angle the surround diagonally over the socket. Make sure everything is straight and refit the 2 screws. In some cases, you may need longer screws (which are available from most good diy shops) to compensate for the additional thickness of the surround. Always be very careful not to touch the wires when fitting or if you feel a unsure, contact a local spet for help. Designed to provide a 30mm surround around a standard single switch or socket: - Outer dimension: 145mm x 145mm x 3mm / 14.5cm x 14.5cm x 0.3cm / 5.8' x 5.8' x 0.12' - Inner dimension: 80mm x 80mm x 3mm / 8cm x 8cm x 0.3cm / 3.1' x 3.1' x 0.12' If your switch or socket is too near an architrave or skirting to use these, don't worry, just let us know.
