Is this Typewriter "Brand New" not refurbished? And does it have a warranty on it? I've never heard of this Brand before?

Item is brand new and has 1 year parts and labor warranty. Nakajima has been in business a long time.

What type of paper is best yo use in it

I used regular copy paper. After owning the Nakajima WPT-160 and using it to type about 30 letters, I regret I didn't buy a Brothers like I had before. This machine is always moving the start and finish lines of the sentence. I have a third row of symbols on the number s row I can never get to function right.

Is the manual printed in English?

How bright is the lcd display? is it always on or can you turn it off? i am sensitive to light such as from a computer screen.
