Worth the money
Its an excellant book....my 10yr olds love it and are reading it everyday. They are learning about the elements including the atomic numbers without having to learn by heart. They quiz me too !!! It has prompted me to buy other Basher books

My son has recently developed a love for science, in particular astrophysics which has brought on a thirst for knowledge in elements, particles, etc. He is only 10 and this book looked like the better choice in regards to not being too babyish or to advanced. The book has been well thought out. Informative and fun. He loves it!

I love these Basher books. In particular, my daughter enjoys the science ones, but I think all the topics are worthy of looking into. They take subject matter seriously, but use bright and colorful illustrations and characters to get kids interested, and also help them remember the information better. We homeschool, and these are great books for any homeschooler's bookshelves. They would also be great for teacher's classrooms and for public school children who might be struggling with a subject or perhaps are just not that interested in a subject. Or if your child has a strong interest in any particular area, they would enjoy reading about it on these Basher books. I would recommend them starting around grades 3 and up. The science books held my daughter's interest up into middle school and even in 9th grade right now, she still likes all the science ones, and likes flash cards on the period table as well. Just type in "Basher" under the books section here at amazon and it will pull up a bunch. They have books on grammar, mythology, history, states and capitals, and more. Also, most public libraries are bound to have a handful of Basher books as well.

Com uma didática excelente o livro é todo esquematizado. As figuras trazem grandes informações para a memorização do conteúdo. O livro é todo em inglês mas de fácil entendimento. Meu sobrinho de 12 anos além de assimilar todo o conteúdo dessa obra também decorou a tabela periódica inteira num curto período de 2 meses.
