Cool, but troublesome. So simple, there's just no room for complexity.
This is a sleek piece of tech with clear audio, solid range, and easy setup. Unfortunately, the manual is incomplete and doesn’t fully explain the functions. The biggest issue is with the advertised dual-channel support. While it technically allows two mics, both channels are locked into a single mono/stereo track. This means if the second speaker coughs or talks, it can completely cover the first person’s dialogue. Because the tracks are merged from the start, there’s no way to split them later in editing—an enormous problem for media production. I purchased the VPM20 “mobile version,” but the pictures on Amazon don’t fully match the product, and the included manual is vague. The “camera version” appears to offer better documentation and functionality, including the option to split channels. Unfortunately, the mobile version doesn’t provide this feature. Since my phone lacks a headphone jack, I rely on USB-C, but the receiver doesn’t allow track splitting. A simple firmware option or button on the receiver could solve this, but as it stands, the dual-channel support feels misleading. Unless I receive clarification or a fix from the manufacturer soon, I’ll be returning this unit and moving on to another solution. Other minor problem is with the design of the mic itself. It's surprisingly difficult to apply the windscreen to these tiny devices without triggering ON/OFF of the Noise Cancelation feature. Then once the fuzzy face cover goes over the whole assembly, which is completely unnecessary as the mic is only in one spot, I can't tell if noise cancellation is ON or OFF. Requiring me to mess with the windscreen again and again and again.

You can’t get anything better for the price
Absolute bargain - for £16, you get the whole lot. Absolutely unbeatable sound quality for the price - this used to sell for over £100! This kit, even though it says it’s the mobile version, you get the whole lot including the dedicated module with 24bit audio - and channel splitting (so output is stereo, 1 mic per channel) which is super helpful! You can use the dedicated receiver either through USB for direct 24bit output with a pc too, and it has a dedicated TRS line out. Absolute bargain, audio quality is comparable to a DJI mini mic which is amazing for the price. There are a couple of downsides - the flat magnet attachment that I use more than the clip does not fit in the case - and you can’t store the accessories or the two Lightning and USB-C mini receivers in the case which is a bummer. Either way - those are very minor complaints for the quality, amount of accessories and essentially 3 receivers for the price. In fact, I just had the dedicated receiver plugged into my PC at all times now, and you can use the mic just like AirPods for meetings which is super useful! For the techies: the receiver with the screen supports both per-mic stereo output, as well as a safe backup (so one channel is at a set gain, other is always at minimum). You can also use it directly via USB, not just using the line out into an interface or camera. The mini USB-C and Lightning receivers seem to only be 16bit, and do not support separate mics per channel - this is a bit of a bummer since the output is still stereo but both mics are mixed into both channels.

Bluetooth Stopped Working
I bought this barely over a month ago and the Bluetooth just stopped working, along with the screen breaking out of the blue. The sound is good if the Bluetooth actually worked. I have to use the usb-c receiver to make it work, which for me defeats the purpose because I want to use it with my camera. Also the shape is annoying to deal with. I would return this if I could but it’s just barely out of the return range. Update: The seller was very responsive and gave a full refund. The product should work, but if it doesn’t, they will refund you.
