Amazing mic quality
I saw this headset in a video from Craft Computing on Youtube and the audio demonstration sounded amazing, so I decided to try these for streaming on Discord while im away from home and Zoom for when im out of the office for work. After attaching my spare KZ ZSN Pro IEMs and jumping on Discord on my laptop my friends were all amazed at how clear my audio quality was. They mentioned that this headset even sounds better than my trusty Razer Siren mic that I normally use on my desktop. The over-ear section is a soft silicone rubber. It has been quite comfortable over long gaming sessions and holds the mic in position surprisingly well. The cable material is a bit meh as it is that same silicone rubber type material like the Apple earbud cables use and is just as prone to curling and tangling, but isnt the worst thing ever. A nice braded style cable like those that come with most IEMs would be an amazing upgrade.

So far so good
The mic quality seems good. I haven't done any extensive testing, but it does seem to be better than your run of the mill non-boom mic that comes built into other cables. The mic does seem to have an omnidirectional pickup pattern, so it will pick up things like your keyboard, mouse, and whatever else makes noise nearby. This might be a problem for some people depending on what and where you use it, but I don't consider it a negative for myself. Comfort is very subjective and I was a little worried based on some reviews I've read, but it hasn't been uncomfortable for me. I do wonder how well the flexible wire that wraps around the ears will hold up over time, but it seems similar to the wire that they're using in their wireless mod mics and I haven't had issues with mine that is five years old. The fit is secure on my ears and I've had a three hour session without feeling like I needed to adjust it. The only con that I'll give it is that the cable is a little long as I prefer shorter cables that I can extend if necessary. Overall, as long as it holds up, I'm really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who uses IEMs that could use a mic.

Great Mic Quality
I just got this in the mail along with the antlion one and this one fits way better and it's much more comfortable! The mic was difficult to push into place but once it connected and I tested out the mic, it sounds pretty great. The mic sits above the IEM so when it comes down towards your mouth, it's easy to adjust. The other one is below the ear and is very difficult to adjust to the right position. Definitely would recommend this boom mic over cables with the mic dangling from the right bud.

Great Microphone. Doesn't hold shape.
Does what it's meant to do. Microphone is great. Hard to get a comfortable fit. After fiddling with them for a few minutes each time I put them on, I was able to get a comfortable fit, but the ear hooks don't hold firm position. Every time you take them off and go to put back on, you have to bend the hooks back into position. I use mine for gaming and work calls on the computer, so I take them off and on many times during the day. Better off with a standalone microphone if your setup allows for it.

Unimpressive to frustrating
tl;dr is that it's ergonomically frustrating and the microphone tends to be quiet and requires some finicking to produce an optimal balance of volume and clarity, and I think it's a design fault. The cable itself is okay. It's long, flexible, and doesn't produce much cable noise. Also has a clip so you can attach it to your shirt and give the heavier earloops an anchor point. Splits into separate headphone and mic jacks and comes with an adapter if all you've got is a multi jack. I'm not a fan of the earloops. They're a pain to adjust to the optimal point and you'll need to adjust them fairly frequently. The issue is at its worse on the right side, where the microphone is, because of its added weight. Most adjustments will 'spring back' a little either side, but it feels like it happens more on the mic side. The mic itself CAN be okay. it points mostly away from your mouth, and my experience is that unless I'm really trying to project my voice, it's picking up my keyboard at about the same level as my speech. There are solutions to this on a design level, but on a user level the best I can do is either enable noise cancelling (which destroys the relative clarity of the audio) or crank the gain (which makes the noise issue worse.) frankly disappointing. In all, if you're looking at this cable I would recommend you pursue a different option first, then come try this out if that doesn't work.

Utter disappointment
To say i was disappointed is an understatement. I used these with the truthear IEM and expected all my “external mid issues” to be solved. Boy was i woken up to a rude awakening. These things dont work. By dont work i mean literally dont work. If you bend the mic cable a little to cater to where you want it to be on your face, the mic cuts off and stop working. The tip of the mic is loose and also plays a big part in picking up your voice or not. Overall it was exciting at first upon trying but utterly disappointing due to the poor mic connectivity issue and quality of the sounds produced from the mic. The mic also bleeds so others can hear what you hear.

Wish I had found this earlier!
So far this thing has been great, with one caveat. I'm using it with a set of Linsoul (KZ ZAX ) in-ears, and no issues with build quality, but the cables that come with the Linsouls have a sheath around the pins to steady the in-ears and protect the pins... This cable/mic set doesn't have that (recessed 2-pin). I had my original set of in-ears for a long time and they had taken a lot of wear. A few weeks after switching to this cable/mic set, one of the connectors on the in-ears broke. Granted it may have been stressed in some way before, but the lack of that matching sheath on the cable end makes me wonder. I switched to the newer set I had (on KZ AZ09 loops) and haven't had any issues since , but it concerns me that the issue may occur again. Manufacturer... If you offered a model with that sheath (recessed 2-pin), this thing would be 6 stars... just sayin'.

The sound is great, but not great when it comes to cable. It constatly twists and produces sounds all the way to the ear canal. Sound quality 5/5 Cable quality 1/5 Ear fitting 2/5
