Like the title says, this is morning coffee routine meeting sophistication. For starters, this coffee machine looks very sleek and modern, with its not so large size, black and stainless steel finish and the large touch screen. It’s like having a personal robotic barista right at home. As far as the coffee that goes in, you can go with already grounded coffee or toss the whole beans in it and the internal grinder does the rest. Options there are plenty, from espresso shots to foamy cappuccinos, there is something for everyone, at least for us at home. Do keep in mind that depending on your palate and expectations, you might have to set the amount of coffee/water ratio per shot, so make sure to keep the user instructions at hand. And talking about instructions, there are plenty so for the first time user there might be a learning curve before becoming truly familiar and comfortable with this machine, so definitely save the instructions. For the mildly negative aspects, I’ll point out that the water tank is not as large as the other machine I have, but this goes in hand with the overall size of this machine. Not such a deal breaker but do keep in mind you will be having to fill the tank more often than other similar products. Also, one thing I really dislike is the milk container being separate and not mounted to the machine, as this not only takes extra counter space, but it also looks off by being attached to the machine by only a hose. All in all, as far as its intended use, it works great and some will certainly appreciate the drink options this one makes. However, not sure if the convenience it offers is on par with the cost.
