The button maker was packaged well. Both the box that contained the supplies & the box containing the button maker had handles. This makes it so convenient to grab either one & go. When you take the button maker out of the box, it's ready to go. You just put yr design, the metal parts & a Mylar circle in the correct mold & squeeze twice. In less than a minute you've got a good-looking button. This machine makes one size of button (2.25"). There were plenty of supplies. The box contained metal button fronts & backs, a circle cutter, extra cutter blade, Mylar circles, copy paper circles, Allen wrenches, & 2 gaskets. Thorough instructions included pointers on using plastic-backed buttons as well as troubleshooting tips. The machine is metal w/hard plastic molds & well-made. It should hold up for years w/proper care. I used wrapping paper to try this out. Messed up the first one due to operator error. Checked the troubleshooting tips & found out that I used TWO Mylar circles instead of one! Got out another circle, followed instructions more closely, & voilà! Success! Since the pattern on the button was multidirectional, I'll practice orientation (instructions were included). Wouldn't want to make a upside-down button :-) This is definitely a quality product & I strongly believe that it'll serve my craft needs throughout the years.

I bought a button maker for the first time last year. We thought we were getting a deal buying the 1 inch button maker. The 1 inch buttons are so small, it's really difficult to design your own and the plastic backs break real easy. This one is much better! Metal backs and bigger buttons. I thought about getting the 3 inch button maker, but that's a little too big. These are perfect! Easy to use and a great deal for the money. I highly recommend this brand!

So easy to use. It comes fully assembled! That was a huge bonus when looking at makers. First pin came out great , but pin back was sideways. Figured that out fast and I was on a roll testing the machine. I used fabric, cardstock designs leftover from card making, and regular paper that comes with the button. It is made well and very sturdy. Have already recommend this machine to someone.

UPDATE: I've changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because after reading my review the Seller offered me a full refund and still keep the product. I have no criticism of the machine, only of the supplies provided. The machine itself works pretty good actually. As such, it's not right to ask for a refund, and still keep the machine, simply because there's a deficiency with the supplies. The Seller has agreed to look into providing pre-cut paper on 8.5x11" stock that can be run through a printer. They've also agreed to look into offering a carry case for the machine and all the accessories. The offer is impressive and I would not hesitate to buy from this Seller again. The instruction booklet that comes with the machine does not adequately describe how to use the machine. The videos in the listing however demonstrate everything perfectly. The remaining issue is with the paper supplies provided albeit the 58mm, 32mm or 25mm paper circles. There isn't a printer made that will accept paper in these sizes or shapes. As such, to make multiple copies of the same image is virtually impossible. What would be more appropriate would be for the Seller to provide 58mm, 32mm or 25mm perforated circle paper stock on 8.5" x 11" sheets giving the User the opportunity to print multiple copies of the same image. In summary, a well thought out system for custom button making except for one small detail, the inability to make multiple copies of the same image or even print one image through a printer.

The quality of it was much better than I thought it was going to be. It is very easy to use and the instructions are clear. It didn't cost an arm and a leg! And I love that it came with a lot of pin sets.

Item doesn't work well it keeps bending the pieces but not bending them together the top piece won't connect to the bottom to make the buttons very disappointing considering the price
