Fav - best shapewear there is in my opinion. Comfortable, smoothing, tummy control is perfect (I can sit and breath but feel it’s a firm fit). Also love the slick texture- I can usually skip a slip and never causes chafing or irritation. And not to snug on the thighs that you have a bulging effect that shows with slacks.

My wife wanted me to order these Spanx Thinstincts shorts for her. She primarily wanted something to wear that would give her a touch of tummy control (her words, not mine). Although I personally have never heard of the Spanx name, she had, and knew them to be a top name in "shapewear". When they arrived at our home and she tried them on it was confirmed that the tummy control was indeed excellent! However, not all was ideal, as she couldn't stop the fabric on the legs from rolling up which made the shorts very uncomfortable to wear. She said that in retrospect she probably should have ordered up one size, because besides the leg thing they really did what they are supposed to do: provide excellent shaping for the tummy and hips. She won't be able to wear them now, but she has been losing weight so maybe someday soon! I hope so, because she really loved them otherwise and commented on how well-made they are. True quality!

I am a size 6 in fine clothes, but after having three children and three C-sections, I have a little pouch that I cannot get rid of near my C-section line. I usually wear tighter underwear so you can’t tell and because I’m thin, you can’t really notice it. But, most importantly, I notice it! I do not like tight things on my body, so I never tried a pair of Spanks until this. I did get a very large size because I was afraid of being suffocated, never have owned any sort of shape wear. So you could see what an XL size looks like, I put a tablespoon across the front of the second picture. Now, I can honestly say I can see why people wear them! It was like having a tummy tuck without going through the pain. (My husband says I’m beautiful and I do not need a tummy tuck. He’s so cute) I am sure I could’ve bought a medium, but I was so afraid to try them as I mentioned above because of being sucked in so much. They’re not uncomfortable and I thought they would be. I am going to get another pair in my size. Fabulous product!!!

I tried these on several different occasions with different circumstances and every time they’d roll up, practically cut off my circulation. They are very thin and comfortable and run true to size. However if you need to wear them more than 30 minutes, they get awkward and uncomfortable fast. My second time wearing these I had to pull them down (again) and I pinched a hole in them with my finger. Ugh!

When I took these Spanx out of the bag, I was nervous that while I bought my usual size, they would never fit. At first since I had just taken a shower, I could not get them to fit. As soon as I was 100 percent dry I tried again. Not only did they fit but they made my jeans look amazing. Wearing them made them more comfortable. No rolling down at the waist, no binding, they became comfortable. I wanted these to wear under a dress for a party. I can see that the dress will look smooth when I wear these Spanx.

I don’t usually wear shape wear (usually just wear cotton bike shorts under dresses), but I wore these under a bridesmaid dress. They did help smooth me out more than plain bike shorts and were comfortable enough. They did begin to role up my thighs after a few hours. I would order them again, if they were $30 or less, but not for the current $70+ price.

Fantastic product - the material really is thin. It is comfortable and breathable enough to wear all day. After two kids and the start of peri menopause I needed something a little more heavy duty to hide lumps and bumps. These really are perfect and the colour tone matches my light natural tanned skin. You cannot see lines under tight fitting clothes. The girl short style is great to wear under dresses to stop your legs sticking together in the hot summer heat. I am now a Spanx convert and will be purchasing more - especially from this “thinstinct” range!
