For PSP 3000 Highlight High Brightness Drop in IPS Screen LCD No Need Solder Easy to Install

Amazing replacement upgrade if you have a yellowing screen on your 3000. You do not have to remove the microphone. But if you keep it you will have some bleed. Also Just be smart about how you bend the backlight ribbon cable as you install the screen and you will have plenty of clearance. The backlight ribbon cable is thicker than the original oem. So your plastic ribbon retainer may only close 90% of the way shut, that is ok. Just don’t force it or else you could end up breaking the ribbon retainer on the mother board.

Easy install and fits great! Looks way better than the original, PSP will live another few decades.

Literally no instruction and the video skip a lot of parts on disassembly, backlight bleed also if you don’t remove the microphone, I have this big one right by the microphone, other than better view angle you’ll lose the better gamut of the old screen.

As the title says, I believe the product is probably great. However, on the screen that I got the backlight did not work. If you buy this I hope you have better luck than me, because I've heard great things about this screen and I've used Hispeedido products in the past (mainly their Gameboy screens) and had no issues.

Great display. I messed up thinking this was a laminated display so be sure to grab a new lens if youre going to buy this. Viewing angles are amazing, color amazin, and the brightness is great. Solid upgrade

Very easy to install, just make sure you have a compatible PSP by using PSPident. If it's a 07g motherboard you won't be able to use this screen. I got lucky with my 3000, it was one of the later revisions so it worked flawlessly with it. I would recommend getting a glass lens to replace the shoddy plastic ones that were used by Sony or third parties if you have a aftermarket shell.
