Automatic and manual cycles are not starting for watering. Here are some troubleshooting steps

Steps 1: Water Source Issues, Ensure that the main water supply and all supply lines are open and functioning correctly.

Steps 2: Wiring Connections

Check that all field wires are properly connected, including those to the timer, master valve (or pump start relay), and any spliced connections.

Steps 3: Wiring Damage or Corrosion

Inspect the field wiring for any damage or corrosion. Replace any damaged wiring and use watertight connectors for all connections to ensure durability.

What is the size of the cable interface?

The cable interface is based on the current rating of the integrated single valve, and is fully suitable for the corresponding standard size cable. If you're still using thicker cables, you'll need an adapter.

Can the controller only be installed outdoors?

Yes, the power line is intended for indoor use only. For outdoor use, you'll need a waterproof housing or cover.
