This is a very sturdy and well made item which I use after taking the dog for his run around the dog paddock that we go to. It's basically a grass field and in the winter or when it has been raining it's impossible not to get my boots caked with mud. I like this item because the 8cm wide scraper blade takes care of the worst of the mud and debris, especially around the sides and heel, whilst the excellent bristles of the boot brush get into the tread of the sole and make light work of cleaning all that packed in grass and mud too. The handle is easy to hold and is a good solid piece of wood that gives me confidence when having to use a bit of force to remove those hard to get off bits. A hanging loop is provided although you might need to replace it with an old shoelace as mine wore through quite quickly hanging it up when wet. As the description states: "Newman and Cole know what you need from a boot cleaner brush and aim to deliver exactly that!" and I think they have. Overall there's nothing not to like about this product and as you may have guessed - I am actually using this item and believe it to be of excellent value.
