This should be a handy functional product for someone with experience making things fit. You may need a drill and drill bits to make the plastic bushings the right size. Two of the bushings had some plastic left in them (see photo). I used the middle sized one to replace the handle on a gardening tool. (see other photos). I drilled out the bushing to 10 mm and tapped the handle with 10mm threads and used bearing or thread retainer to ensure it won't loosen. The knob has a decent weight to it and is nicely machined aluminum.

I have 3 weighted shift knobs. This is the only one that said it was "heavy weighted" and it is the lightest of my 3. I was really hoping for more weight. However, everything else about this shifter is great. The length is fantastic. It feels like the perfect diameter in my hand. The color is great. I intend to add a little extra weight to this as the inside is hollow. Then it will be perfect.
