I got these to install on the back of my truck tool box lid. The overall build quality is very high. The base plate is made of metal, not plastic. The wire protector coming out of the rear is a soft rubber and looks like it will be waterproof (especially since the kit includes foam backing pads which should keep water from ever reaching the wires). Mounting hardware is also included.Following the included instruction, I did a test set up. Dang, these lights are bright! I was able to easily change the flashing pattern very easily by touching the yellow wire to the black wire. Once I found a flash pattern I liked, I removed the red wire and the lights went out since there was no more power going into the lights. I waited a few minutes and re-connected the red wire. The lights began the same flash pattern I had previously selected when I turned the lights off. So I can confirm these lights will remember the last flashing pattern you selected.Once I get them installed on my truck bed toolbox, I will update this post with new photos. But, as of now, everything looks great.

Do not buy these. They burnt out the second they got turned on.

I ordered these LED strobe lights for my trailer because I am going at a lower rate of speed than traffic sometimes, and need to be noticed. They do not provide an extreme flash that some LED strobes do; therefore, I am not thrilled with the visibility - but it is still good. The quality of the strobes overall seems to be a little cheaper, but not bad, but I definitely am fine with the function and value. Installation was not difficult, yet the wires come out towards the top, but they look neat. Overall, for maximum safety, these are not the best LED strobes to order, but a great size and overall value.
