A very good radio

This lovely radio arrived yesterday and I found it really easy to follow the instructions to set up pre-sets etc. Great sound.

Bought this radio for my new bathroom. it has easy to use controls and produces excellent sound. when i saw the size of the unit i was expecting a tinny sound but it is as good as a £100 stereo. Was a bit disappointed because i mistoke where it said Digital as DAB. The digital in the title refers to the tuning and this is only an anologue radio.Good product a bit deceiving in the words but would recommend to a friend

No good for the uk, can only tune a few fm stations please note this is not a dab radio.

The radio doesn't work.

I love it!!! It is very well built and waterproof for use in the shower. All functions are managed by push button. Many station memory slots that are quickly obtained with a single push button selection. Many features for use outdoors. It uses 2 D cells for very long listening time. The sound quality is acceptable. This radio is a bit expensive but very much worth it.

Actually, I like to listen to NPR in the morning while I shower. Occasionally, I will rock out though... Seriously, this thing is a life changer. You may laugh, like my girlfriend laughed at me, at the idea of a shower radio. And then, you get one.... and your mind is totally blown. Life like it used to be, pre-shower radio, seems like anarchy and waste to you now. No, you stand in the warm, sudsy nirvana where the voices of Steve Inskeep and Renee Montagne sing the honeyed song of pure information beaming through that miraculous waterfall of waking up. You body and mind are made whole in a communion of lather and scrupulously fact-checked reportage. But I digress... The radio itself is very well-constructed. Reception is quite good. I let the hanging antennae hang from the bottom of the radio and it does its job. No fiddling necessary. The radio buttons are protected by a clear layer of plastic; yet they depress very easily and work fine. The display is legible even through the jungle steam of a hot shower. It has a handle that retracts into the top of the radio which is semi-useful for hanging the thing from your actual shower head (or more precisely from the section of pipe between the shower head and the wall). I wish it had a more effective means of hanging-- like a longer strap. The handle can only be used to hang on certain shaped things. It has a narrow opening, though it does retract completely into the body of the radio so that you use it in places that it would not otherwise fit. The radio does have a mounting bracket on the back so you can put it in a permanent place on the wall if you want. (I'm a renter, so I don't do that.) Sound quality is very good in my opinion. I can hear it very clearly when the shower is on and it doesn't have to be turned up incredibly loud either. The battery life is good. It runs for about three months on 2 D batteries with daily use (total about 30 mins per day). It has a power bar on the display which indicates how much juice is remaining. I suppose it is a little expensive-- though you shouldn't be paying the list price-- I think this radio is totally worth it for the joy it has made in my life.

Lo que me parece excelente es su botonera para selección de emisoras, pues fácilmente tengo acceso a mis preferidas,el que tenga su antena le da una magnifica recepción, una buena calidad de sonido, el detalle de su alarma para en caso de algún problema en la ducha o bañera , asi como su timer para cuando se llegue uno a dormir en la tina o avise de tiempo suficiente de estancia en el jacuzzi, ademas prevé una falla de luz y se tiene a la mano una linterna muy efectiva, así como es de fácil colocación y traslado, me parece excelente producto lo recomiendo ampliamente, he buscado durante mucho tiempo un producto similar a este y no lo había podido encontrar hasta ahora.

OK, so I rebuilt my shower to have lots of room. I have always had a radio in the shower, but the last one (at $20.00) crapped out after a year. I decided with my nice big glassed in shower that I wanted a good radio.Frankly I have never spent more than $40.00 on a radio for the shower. Did a fair bit of research before I settled on this one. At $100 it was way over my budget, but hey I deserve the best!I was not disappointed. The sound is exceptional (for a shower radio). The features, digital tuner, presets, sleep switch all work as advertised. The reception is excellent for both AM and FM bands and I did not uncoil the included FM antennae. I do get a noticeable hum at the lower AM freq's in one area of the shower, but both p[previous shower radio's I had, could get no reception there.My wife has decided to buy both sons-in-law these for Xmas this year. Excellent value if you don't mind spending for a high end shower radio!
