PlayStation DualSense® Wireless Controller – 007 First Light Limited Edition

My first ps5 exclusive game controller. The gold color stands out and also the 007 gun barrel design. The controller works like new like any other ps5 controller.

I have purchased more DualSense controllers than any other. Seriously, I’ve amassed quite the collection. Often times, each controller was part of a special event or release. Enter the 007 First Light DualSense. I purchased this along with the Collector’s Edition of the game. It’s a nice display piece and a perfect edition to my collection. If you were left unfulfilled by whichever edition of the game you purchased, I suggest picking this up to enhance your experience.

I love the color and the 007 is a nice touch as are the black lines. I love the metallic controllers and have the silver one, too. I love the way it looks.

I used the 007 First Light Special Edition Controller for my entire playthrough of the game. At the end of the day, it's a standard controller with a 007-themed paint job. If you're expecting special features, custom buttons, enhanced performance, or anything beyond the cosmetic design, you won't find it here. That said, the gold finish looks nice and makes for a good collectible for James Bond fans. The controller was comfortable, worked flawlessly throughout my playthrough, and performed exactly as expected. Whether it's worth the extra money depends on how much you like Bond memorabilia. If you're buying it because you're a fan of 007 First Light or James Bond, you'll probably be happy with it. If you're looking for a unique controller experience, this isn't really different from any other standard controller. Just don't expect it to be anything more than a themed version of the regular controller.

I think the finish looks better in person, and being not much more expensive than a regular PS5 controller, it seems worth it. Besides when have we ever seen a Bond controller before.
