Hace falta más detalle en el manual para saber exactamente como se instala el producto y al requerir desarmar la cubierta dura del jeep implica que es más fácil hacerlo entre dos personas.

I have this on my 15 JKU and I absolutely love it. I spent a long time looking at racks that I could put my kayak J racks on but on a wrangler it is either a full cage or cross bars that mount to the hardtop gutter rails. I didn't like either option because either one renders the freedom panels useless. The Surco rack avoids that by putting a cross bar over the back. It was easy to install and it is very secure, drove 7 hours with 2 kayaks with no issues. I would recommend a more permanent installation as there are foam pads that get compressed in the install and taking them on an off would render those useless and could scratch your top.

I'm using this kit combined with the Surco (UB53) Black 53" Urban Crossbar on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler 2 door JK. I specifically wanted a rack to transport kayaks and/or a canoe. This kit comes with the side/roof adapters for both the front and back. The back has the longer arms that go under your hardtop and the shorter feet for the front attach to the rain gutters on the freedom panels. You'll need to purchase the appropriate crossbars to round this out separately - either the 53" Urban Crossbar like I used which is more oval in shape, or the S60 60" Safari bars which are more square/rectangle in shape. I went with the shorter Urban bars because from reading about rack attachments in general, it seemed that a bunch of accessories have a hard time attaching to bars that are rectangular or square in shape (specifically looking at kayak j bar carriers). I also preferred the look of the shorter bars because they wouldn't stick so far over the sides of the hardtop like the 60" would. It wasn't difficult to install these. I needed a second hand to position the rear adapters under the hardtop (while I lifted it up from the inside) but otherwise once that was out of the way, I completed it myself in only a couple hours (or less). These are on pretty solidly too and the quality is great - I'm able to shake the Jeep just by pulling on them to test that they're secure. I spent a lot of time agonizing over what kind of rack to purchase and found myself initially looking at full cages. It didn't seem like there were many options in terms of a roof rack for a 2 door Wrangler other than cages until I came across this rack. I love that it's unobtrusive and seems to suit the look of the Jeep, and is relatively affordable for a rack. I didn't like how huge and bulky many cages appeared, and for the price of cages easily being double this one, many of the cages seemed to have hit or miss reviews on quality. I have no concerns over the quality of the Surco rack and appreciate that I can easily remove it whenever needed. Some drawbacks - this attaches to the freedom panels so if you want to remove them, you'll need to pull off the crossbar, but I don't think it'll really be annoying to reattach. I also read some concerns on forums around the wind dynamics of attaching these to the freedom panels and the forces pulling up on them (since the panels are only clamped/screwed in place underneath) and after driving hours on the highway with the rack (and with a 14' kayak on the top) there hasn't been any movement. I also read comments about wind noise but actually I haven't found them to be very loud at all. If you wanted to get rid of the noise you could wrap paracord around the front or put tape underneath the channel. Either way, I think that's to be expected with any racks and I've had noisier ones on other vehicles. All in all, I'm very happy with this rack, I expect it to last a long time and it's exactly what I was looking for to fit my Wrangler.

These metal straps hold my Wrangler roof rack securely. They are very easy to use and very easy to install. However, they did start rusting and leaving streaks of corrosion down the car’s paint after about seven years. Because I put them on and took them off frequently, the padding that protects the surface of the roof started to deteriorate, leaving the padding thinner and a residue on the fiberglass.

Easy to install. I made changes to it as I was using an alternate basket. Sturdy and good for some cargo to haul on vavcation
