Nice kit, have used it a couple of times on my SRAM Red brakes. Had to buy a bleeding edge valve tool to complete the set (not included with this kit). If your brake system doesn't use the fancy bleeding edge adapter, then you're all set. Syringes are super smooth and work well.

I bought the upgraded syringes for my home use and they make the process much more enjoyable. Setup time is a bit long at first to make sure everything is right. But after a while, you will get the process down quick and a full bike bleed might take you only an hour from start to being all clean.

Nice kit... but mid-bleed I realize that there is no adapter for bleeding SRAM Guide T brakes! So frustrating, especially when it means my bike (with air in the system) is now out of commission for a couple of days while I wait for the proper part to arrive. While it may work well for many types of bike calipers, this is not going to work on SRAM Guide T brakes. Buyer beware.

Yes, the adapters would thread into the Sram Code R master and calipers. But this is different than the Sram bleed kit which allows you to back the bleed screw off to bleed, then lock it when you are done bleeding. This kit makes you take the caliper bleed screw completely out. You can bleed the system just fine, but when it's time to disconnect the syringes, there's no way to close the bleed screw. You just unscrew the syringe adaper and put the bleed screw back in, along with air at the very bottom of the system! If you have Sram brake, just pony up for the Sram bleed kit. Sorry I bought this.

Everything went together well. Parts sealed together and against the caliper and lever really well. Upgraded syringes were wonderful! I think I'm going to have to upgrade my mineral oil kit. Everything went pretty smoothly for my first time bleeding SRAM brakes.

Did not even put in break fluid. I put together the syringes and quickly noticed that the connection with the hose would not hold and would leak everywhere. I tested it with no fluid and they fell right off. Make sure you buy syringes with a quick disconnect point or you will have a mess.

I purchased this kit for bleeding my Avid Elixir 7 brakes. I selected this kit due to the apparently-upgraded syringes. The plunger in my syringes let air past the o-ring when minor vacuum is created in the syringe. I attempted to replace the o-ring in the syringe with the provided spares, but this did not solve the problem which seemingly in a defect in the plunger itself. Note that creating a vacuum is critical to the de-gassing process and is fully intended for the user to do as evidenced in the instructions and inclusion of hose-clamps to seal the system. Further, the adapters for attaching the syringe to the hose were represented as a variety for multiple brands in the instructions -- mine were all identical and also all incompatible with the upgraded syringes in this kit. I expect these adapters are intended for use with the non-upgraded syringes available in the lower-priced kit also sold on this page. Generally, I was pleased with the provisions of tools and spares that were provided -- but spare parts only count when they fix the problem. Fresh out of the box, this kit didn't get me any closer to riding my bicycle. Your mileage may vary.

I bought this product to work with my Force AXS group set and it looked like it contained the bleeding edge adaptor. Instead I had to remove the port valve and screw the adaptor in the old way. The proper adaptor is even depicted in the instructions. It was quite frustrating to have to assemble the hoses before getting started on the whole process. The syringes are of high quality and the nozzles are nicely machined, however the bleed block is almost useless since I needed to hold it in position.

Bought this kit to help a mate with changing his oil in his Shimano internal gear hub. I gambled on the non-shimano kit and it paid off. The syringes are top quality, and successfully pulled the old oil out and easily pumped fresh oil back in the hub. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between DOT and non-DOT bleed kits. I cleaned the syringes using Simple Green and everything was back to 'brand new' before dinner.
