Delicious and great texture. I love peanut butter as a base for my nutty protein bars and this is an excellent item as it holds shape and dries out just enough to form lovely bars using fruit, nuts, oats etc. There is the perfect quality of nuts and natural oil, and I personally find my protein bars hold their texture perfectly using this butter. Not too oily, just right.

When I discovered my usual peanut butter contained palm oil i looked for one that was palm oil free and after reading up i came across Pip & Nut. The tub arrived and for the price it's decent, once opened you need to give it a really good mix to blend then..enjoy. It tastes lovely, very pea-nutty, not dry but not oily either, just perfect. I have it on subscription though the price has just increased which I'm not happy about so will keep an eye on that

Picked up the 1kg tub of Pip & Nut crunchy peanut butter, and it’s top-notch stuff. Proper natural flavour with no palm oil or added sugar, just peanuts and a good bit of crunch. Spreads well on toast or works great in smoothies and cooking. Only minor gripe is the oil separation – you need to give it a proper stir the first time – but that’s the price you pay for natural ingredients. Otherwise, tasty, healthy, and a big tub that lasts ages.

This is a big tub,on opening i thought nope,because of the pool of oil at the top , but on mixing, it looked like peanut butter, t smells delicious and tastes it too,it's thick but not to thick you can't spread it ,loads of nuts no added extras just delicious nut butter ,and a great price ,shame it's in a plastic tub but it doesn't effect the quality

I love this product but I ordered two. The packaging despite being labelled fragile had been severely damaged. One was unharmed the other had the lid smashed and product leaked into packaging. I replaced the lid with one I had just finished and used the logic that it had been done in transit and I cannot be bothered to go through another complaints process with Amazon. What I will do is not buy this product through Amazon again and am seriously thinking of not continuing with Prime. This is however the best peanut butter and has genuinely no harmful additives except for a bit of salt.

Okay, I REALLY disliked this product, so much so that I eventually discarded it still a little over half-full just so I could go and buy something, almost anything, else. I've not given it a 1* review for reasons of fairness even if I feel like those who love it must belong to some sort of cult and must keep the magical thinking going. I like peanut butter (the crunchier the better) and often work it into savoury dishes too. For years I bought Sun-Pat because it left the peanut oil unlike most mainstream brands which extract and sell the valuable oil, replacing it with cheaper vegetable oils - blurgh. Then they went and changed the shape of the jar, esp. the big, straight-sided jar, from which since I have rheumatism I could no longer extract the peanut butter. Since my pleas to think of us poor cripples have fallen on deaf ears I've been flirting with with any brand using the peanuts' own oil in accessible containers, still looking for a good all-rounder. So onto this one. It appealed because reading the ingredients I thought it would taste like the wonderful peanut butter I used to buy when I lived in the US for a spell where several of local grocery stores had peanut grinding machines. You grabbed a tub and parked it under the dispenser, pushed a button selecting coarseness and your nuts were ground in front of you. It was the best, eat straight from the tub, stuff ever with no added anything, so you see, sugar and salt are not always required. Reading the Pip&Nut description I hoped that I was getting something like this with allowances for not being ground 30 seconds ago. But what I got was BLAND, BLAND, BLAND, and did I mention BLAND? Had it been tasty it would have made up for its other sins.... Another reason why I won't buy this brand again is because it's so unpleasantly oily, really, you can have too much of something! Like tahini natural peanut butter will separate, I know this and if you didn't know this then you do now. This stuff was really hard work to stir back together. In the end I had to use an electric beater (all that stirring incorporates air reducing its keeping time, so don't buy a bigger container than you think you'll get through ay a good rate, same goes for tahini). This would have been okay if 1) the product were delicious = worth the effort AND 2) didn't separate again faster than tahini. To be fair to the product the packaging is good. The peanuts were fresh with no hint of rancidity. The date on the packaging reasonable. It just wasn't pleasant. I've gone out of my way to point out that peanut butter can have a great taste without salt and/or sugar even if I don't think that these additions are necessarily the devil. You don't have to pretend to like something just because you feel like other people will judge you. If the peanuts have "vintages" like one previous reviewer suggested then the buyers should try before they buy a few tons of unsuitable nuts (or legumes for the tiresome pedants). Not doing so is not an endearing "quirk", it does not inspire confidence. The cultivar that went into the tub I bought was clearly bred for oil extraction, hence being too greasy and utterly tasteless.
