Glad I had this spare bar and chain as I got my saw stuck. Replaced with spare bar and cut the other one out. Exact replacement for my Echo CS-400.

Made my saw brand new
I have a Poulan Wild Thing 18" saw that is practically new but had constant issues with stalling in branches or chain jumping off track. This was with the chain and bar that came with the original saw. It cut so bad I was considering trashing the saw. I figured that for about $40 I would try and salvage it. This bar fit my model P4018WT perfectly. When I took it outside and used it to cut large branches that had fallen over the winter, the saw cut through them with EASE! I was able to cut much larger diameter branches then before and the saw didn't stall or hesitate once. I'm not sure why the bar that came with the original saw did so poorly but this one did so well that I actually went looking for EXTRA branches to cut up! Not sure how long this will stay so sharp but it was worth every penny so far. The shipper sent it extremely fast to my East Coast address.

The chain are bar are great. I had a bit of a problem getting the chain to fit in the bar’s grove but once on I went straight to cutting oak.
