I bought Equilibrio for my son's 9th Birthday. He loves building towers, and would often just create things from our jenga blocks we have. So when I saw this, I thought it would be perfect for him. The first couple of structures in the book seem like they are easy, and my son would brag, and tell me he could build anything! However, as we progressed through the structures, it becomes clear that there is not just a balance issue going on - but there is a certain amont of strategy to how you place the blocks, and in which order. This game is excellent for hand-eye co-ordination, as well as problem-solving strategies, and when you turn it into a competition, like we did, it becomes a huge amount of fun! I also like the idea of just buying the other books for the other games they produce, as they can all be played with the same blocks. I recommend this game highly, for single player fun and family competitions - and all achieved without having to buy or replace a single battery!

I got this for my son's 6th birthday after he discovered it at our local library. He would play with it every week, and I couldn't understand what the big deal was with the little container of orange blocks. Then I realized they weren't just blocks... but a puzzle of sorts. He loves to go through the comprehensive booklet that contains the block "puzzles," but also put together his own creations. His two-year-old sister loves to play with the blocks, too, but of course she's not as savvy as her big brother, putting them together. I love that this is an open-ended toy to provide hours of enjoyment, and it's not a huge set so it doesn't take up a lot of room. I'm curious about some of the other sets in this series... but gather that they all contain the same or similar blocks? If you have a child who is into building things (think LEGOs, blocks, trains, etc.) then he/she will absolutely love this.

My 7 year old does these things with no problem. It teaches him dexterity while problem solving to get these things to be perfectly placed in order to balance. My husband still can't figure it out..but it's not his toy so that's ok. This is a brilliant gift for kids who like to build things with Legos or magnetic tiles. It's a 3d building model. They can create their own things or try and build the structures that come in the book.

The game is fine, but what surprised me is how small the game pieces were. You get a large box, but it must be 75% empty space. I just picture something more substantial.

I'm an occupational therapist, and I recommend this game for children who have good visual motor skills. It's very challenging and even therapeutic, but not appropriate for very young children who have limitations with motor skills. My 12 and 14 year old daughters have played with it for hours!

The perfect mind, hand and eye coordination! I purchased three of them for my grandchildren. I opened one to see what it was all about, built #1 then jumped right to #18! Very tricky and fun. If you’ve got a Lego person in your life, this is the another brain thinking gift.

My 6 year old nephew liked this game. He worked 9 or 10 of the puzzles in a row, all on his own. He did get frustrated a few times, but he has some temper problems too. The pieces are made of nice, sturdy plastic. The book is consteucted well too. He didn't try to rip a page out, bit he did beat on it, and it's fine. I am hoping this game will help him work on his patience.

Unser 5-jähriger Sohn ist genauso begeistert dabei wie seine Eltern. Der Schwierigkeitsgerade geht von relativ leicht bis wirklich sehr knifflig und auch für Erwachsene anspruchsvoll, aber lösbar. Die Türme sind in 6 Schwierigkeitsgrade eingeteilt. Unser 5-jähriger hat es bisher in den 4. Schwierigkeitsgrad geschafft und ist immer noch hochmotiviert. Simples, aber tolles Konzept, das motiviert und anregt.

It's more than any other brain development games. The build is strong. The quality is beyond the expectations. My kids enjoys this toy.
