If you are looking for an extremely functional and portable director's cart for a video or film production, but don't want to drop $5000 + on an Inovativ or ProAim, this cart does a ton and is portable. The cart breaks down easily. Just use flat hook ratchet straps on the front and back of the cart near the legs to hold it tight together instead of screws. The legs seat firmly and deeply into the shelves, so the ratchet straps are really just in case you are picking it up to go over curbs or bumps. I don;t need a mallet to assemble or disassemble. I just use a firm hand bump and the legs seat or un-seat perfectly. I've upgraded the wheels to 10" off-road swivel castors with brakes. I was able to easily mount a camera head to one of the holes near the handle. The cables hang wherever I want them. I can use the holes in the legs to add garage hooks or any other accessories to easily carry C-stands and tripods. A monopod fits in the big center hole by the handlebar, while a fluid head camera mount fits into one of the slotted holes by the handlebar. If you need other mounting options, you can easily drill or cut a hole into this very sturdy (but soft-ish) material. I actually like this thing better than the professional carts I've used in many ways. If you are looking for a way to organize complex or heavy duty video shoots, this cart will handle everything you throw at it. They really are missing an opportunity by not marketing this to the pro video crowd.

This cart is great, i bought the small, it is larger than i expected. If i bought the larger one it would have been to big. This one is harder that others I have used to load/unload into a truck bed, if it were a large I would probably avoid unloading it if I did not think I would get use out of it for a long time. Mine was missing the bolts that secure the handle to the cart, I looked and looked and made sure I did not miss them somewhere and then I found bolts I had laying around the attach the handle, the ones I had laying around worked perfect, if they would not have I think it would be hard not to let it affect my review. The wheels are nothing to write home about, I will probably buy replacements. this cart is hard to steer going forward in tight places. The notch for cutting conduit or what ever works great, its nice to have that set up that lets you use your clamp so easy. The cup holder is to small for a shaker. The little hanger things that look like they are for a extension cord or what ever are too small for any cord I would carry but this hangers will hold a 2 or 5 foot ladder standing, or a larger ladder side ways will some effort, makes it nice if you have to drive a lot of stuff into a building with a elevator or something, saves an extra trip.

I use it as a moveable basement shelf for my tools. It's sturdy and large enough to hold multiple tool bags, drills, shop vac, extension cords, and more. Assembly wasn't as smooth as I would have liked, since some of the screws for attaching the wheels to the bottom were missing from the package. I divided what I had amongst the wheels. For this price point (and brand reputation) I did expect that everything I needed would be included.

Purchased this cart for my shop and to hold an air compressor on the lower shelf. The cart is very sturdy, was very easy to assemble and great to work from. My only complaint would be having swivel casters on all 4 wheels instead of 2. Not a huge deal, just would be a nice to have for the way I use it.

Great cart, fast shipping. Only problem, same as others on here, no bolts to attach handle. Went to Lowes, got 2 @ 5/16” X 2-1/2” hex head bolts (I sprung for stainless), 2 @ 5/16” fender washers (for outside of handle pivot.) 2 regular 5/16” washers (fenders don’t fit at inside of handle pivot), And two 5/16” stop nuts with nylon inserts (to resist coming loose.) Bolted the handle on perfectly. To transport, I leave the wheels screwed to the bottom platform, and remove the 8 screws that hold the uprights to the platforms. Takes up hardly any room that way. I got the small size and it’s perfect. Very tall. My back will appreciate that...

Durable, Versatile, and adaptable to many situations

The ergonomic handle lock is not sturdy. One side broke after a few months, but to be fail I have it loaded down pretty well. The hooks are extremely thin and will snap if anything bumps into the side of them with any amount of force.

This is my second Rubbermaid Cart. My first cart was broken in an accident that I cannot blame Rubbermaid for at all. It’s actually impressive that it didn’t break more. It was a standard small cart with a fixed handle that arched up. This cart is much nicer. The clip on accessories are great. The upper and lower platforms are strong. I really like the shelf, though I wish it had a foldable bracket to give it more strength when extended. I have been careful when using it. You wouldn’t want it on hammer anything or really work on the shelf, but it is very nice for cutting/measuring/writing/etc and other light tasks. The adjustable handle is super nice. My only complaint is it’s approximately $100 more than the base cart and you do not get much value out of that $100. I like this cart quite a bit and definitely recommend, but it should only be priced about $50-$60 above base cart.
