Well made for the price. Metal hinges, pretty decent case included and a pouch that doubles as a cleaning cloth. Plastic lenses so they will scratch if you throw them around in your car or your bag. So be careful with them, but the frames are decent to be honest.

Perfect for Texas Sun Driving Glasses. Detailing is beautiful and simple. Temple size is 145 mm for men. ( Womens size is 135 and wrong for most men. ) Hinges are strong with a mortised full metal connection, as opposed to barrel hinges which are inferior. Polarizing is excellent and I assume so is the UV protection. **** WHATS MISSING: CERTIFICATION AND DESCRIPTION OF MATERIALS AND OPTICS, WARRANTY STATEMENT**** This is a missed opportunity for Safilo Group, who purchased Polaroid in 2011. Polaroids, Edwin Land, who developed polarized glasses for the Military in WWII, should easily compete with Luxottica who controls 80% of the glasses market. Comparative ANSI standards at a minimum should be provided with this quality of Sunglasses. NOTES ON LEFT TEMPLE : 3 OR CLASS 3 MEANS 8%-18% VLT (VISIBLE LIGHT TRANS MISSION) FOR BRIGHT LIGHT. This is not very precise, but they are usable for Sunny and common day driving. Polaroid should be much more precise. The CE mark means they meet the European Standard BS EN 1836:2005 which includes UV protection. It does not mean they meet UV400 requirements. Polaroid should provide a certificate on this.

Are these Ray Ban Wayfarers? "No" But at one tenth the cost they are an outstanding value. If you are using these to drive and your car has LCD flat screen displays the polarized lenses will cause distortion, for my intended use they are great for hiking in the desert and easily replaced once they become too scratched up.

Great polarized sunglasses for the price, the only downside is that the case is pretty meh, but the shades themselves seems pretty good, would recommend.

Although the fit nice, there's always a feeling that something off.... Either the tint, or the distortion of the lens or something else, but it's something that I notice every single time I wear them for more that 10 minutes.

I have no complaints about these. They look good, much more premium than the price suggests, and seem top quality. I've had them several months and they fit well on the face and keep the sun out nicely. The Polaroid logos are very subtle. Packaged in a nice, sturdy yellow box with a handy grey carry-case-cloth. My partner was even a bit jealous and she usually orders Ray-Bans. Would definitley reccomend.
