Size Name:10X10CM *** Sterile dressing pads that reduce pain and speed up healing!*** For use on post-surgical wounds, lightly exuding traumatic wounds, superficial pressure sores, superficial burns, and more, the E&E Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing Pads are made of a semi-permeable polyurethane film or PU foam film coated with hydrocolloid containing carboxy-methylcellulose (CMC) as the principal absorbent and gel forming agent.These self-adhesive plasters are permeable to water vapour and moisture, but are impermeable to exudate and microorganisms with the waterproof feature. This creates an ideal barrier for good bacteria for sores, wounds, and ulcers. In the presence of exudate, the CMC absorbs liquid and swells to form a cohesive gel that does not tend to disintegrate or leave residues in the wound bed. Additionally, the polyurethane/CMC texture provides physical protection from contaminants and irritants for small, medium and large sores.
