Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse Black (Styles may vary)

This is excellent value for money. I have an average man's hand and the mouse fits into my hand very comfortably. The left and right buttons are decisive and have a low level audible click for both buttons. The scroll works well - moving up and down the screen in a discrete rather than continuous manner. No special software - as soon as I plugged it into my XP laptop it was recognised. I would recommend this to my friends

I wanted a simple,cheap and effective mouse for my laptop ( my previous mini wireless mouse had the disadvantage of batteries) and that is precisely what I got.The scrolling wheel could be smoother but that is not important for my purposes. All in all, very good value for money.

Note the "styles may vary" disclaimer!I ordered this assuming it would be an original Wheel Mouse Optical (as pictured), to replace the worn-out one I've been using for years and with which I've been very happy. What I received was a new-style Microsoft 3EG-00003 Ready Mouse - Black, which has the same functions but is different enough to leave me disappointed.Besides being a significantly different design, the build quality feels less sturdy, it's lighter (which makes it feel even more flimsy) and the button click sound is (for me, working alone in an office) annoyingly loud.So I'm going to consign this to the spares drawer, if only I can find someone who'll sell me an original Wheel Mouse.

There's no special features with this mouse, just bog standard but it works perfectly. I've used other branded mouses and the last one I purchased was over sensitive; this Microsoft Basic Optical mouse is perfect (no over sensitive issues). If you're looking for a bog standard mouse for your desktop or laptop, I recommend this Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse.

Wanted this to replace old roller ball micrsoft mouse (over 10 years old). Tried a cheap "trust" one but didn't like it - centre scroll wheel was uncomfortable and jerky. Although not of the highest quality (and I didn't expect that for the price) this one suits me fine for what I wanted i.e. just a reliable basic mouse with no rollerball collecting fluff. If you need a mouse for more than day to day stuff though (gaming/photo editing perhaps) you may want to look at other models.

Not a great deal to say about this - it plugs into your PC and works. For those that don't need a whole host of buttons and features, this mouse is ideal and excellent value for money. I particularly like the lack of cleaning required for an optical mouse compared to having to regularly clean a mouse with a ball.

I quite like the simple Microsoft mouse - it looks smart enough, is light and ergonomic enough. Cheap as well. No complains. It isn't the same exact one that is in the picture, the one I got was a little smaller and the buttons were a little more clicky than this one.

Bought this as a replacement for my scroll wheel mouse.I like the basic uncomplicated design, the mouse is lightweight and plugs into USB bought which means you need a free USB port but reduces the reliance on batteries.All in all I am pleased with the purchase - first proper use is today but it has worked liked I hoped.

Cette souris filaire au prix très abordable est solide, précise, compatible avec windows 7 et surtout elle n'a pas vraiment besoin de tapis de souris (car les 4 petites papattes sous la souris sont plus épaisses que sur les autres souris - et oui j'ai fait l'expérience car j'ai plusieurs autres souris à la maison -ne riez pas c'est vrai). Un grand merci pour la livraison rapide.

Ce souris fait exactement ce qui lui est demandé. Il est immediatement reconnu en peripherique sous Windows7 (ce qui n'était pas le cas du souris qu'on a obtenu avec le portable). Seul petit bémol serait un clic assez prononcé, mais on s'y habitue vite.

Da die Maus für Links und Rechtshänder geeignet ist, müssen sich beide umstellen... Nicht so optimal, aber eigentlich nur reine Gewohnheitssache....

Die optische Maus ist hervorragend. Hier kann keine Mauskugel mehr verschmutzen. Ich habe mich für das Kabel entschieden, weil bei der Infrarot-Übertragung immer wieder etwas zwischen Maus und Empfänger stehen kann, und bei der Funk-Maus Störungen durch andere Sender oder anderer Empfänger an der Tagesordnung sind.

Diese Maus erfüllt zu 100% ihren Zweck, ohne Schnörkel, lästigen Zusatztasten oder sonstigen Tüddelkroam. Für 95% aller Anwendungen vollkommen ausreichend und die Qualität der Microsofthardware steht ja seit Jahren auf höchstem Niveau.
