The shop is 40' long and I installed 6-4' LED light fixures with 2' spacing down two red iron C channels. I was thinking of running romex inside conduit, with boxes and plugs every 10' or so. Then I found this. It works fantastic! I simply laid the cord inside the C channels and plugged in the light fixtures. I used all but one plug. This cord comes with covers for each plug, so the extra one was covered. Given the cord is 14 gauge and the fixtures are LEDs, I am able to run all 12 fixtures thru one plug/breaker. There is very little amp draw and minimal resistance. Since the cord is being used indoors, but rated for outdoor use, it should last for years to come. Great product! It's works great! It is heavy duty! Very thick. I strung it along my porch so I could hang lights. The multiple outlets worked great! Plus the holes to nail or screw it in place came in handy. Happy with this purchase!

solid outlet cord
loved this cord, perfect for my patio where I have limited outlets. Only thing I would change would be the way the outlets can be screwed in... i think a more level or enhanced backing would be better as screwing in the holes provided leaves the outlet slightly awkward but stll functions well and solves the power issue, perfect.
