Nokia 2700 Classic Mobile Phone - Black

My poor old Nokia 7610 had seen better days and I didn't want to change the tariff I'm on, so I needed a new handset. Also, I wanted another Nokia as I'm used to their menu layouts etc., but so many of their cheaper phones these days are extremely limited - they all seem to have the ability to play music, but no memory expansion! So this one looked about right for my budget, and in general I'm not disappointed. Ok, it's not Symbian like my 7610 was, but there was really only one app I used on there anyway, which was Sky Mobile/Anytime (unfortunately not supported for this phone). So, plus points: Generally nice quality build and display, 2MP camera (maybe not brilliant these days, but still better than my 7610). Sound quality through the speaker is far better than the 7610, which was not particularly good. And an even better plus point that they don't mention on Amazon, it came with a 1GB memory card installed! Shame I'd already ordered a 2GB one... Minus points: The keypad is the membrane type, so you really need to use your fingernails to press the buttons properly, and I do wonder how long it is going to last. As previously mentioned, not Symbian, but it does come with 3 games (Rally 3D, Snake III and Sudoku) and Opera Mini installed, and I'm sure there are many other apps out there for those that are into that sort of thing. Overall then, a good phone for for the price, for those who don't want too much fancy stuff!

This phone is ideal for ordinary users like myself. The best thing about it is the loud ring. I have always had problems with not being able to hear my previous phones ringing or text messages coming through, but this one is perfectly loud enough. It is simple to use and although the video quality is not the best around, it is adequate. For the price it is a great deal
