Great moss.
It is awesome for growing nepenthes in and there is very little debris and it is odorless. It also appears to be small like you got way less than what they said but when you hydrate it really expands. It definitely looks and is sphagnum moss.

Worth It!
I had seen that “New Zealand” moss was the best quality because of its long fibers and lower content of sticks etc. They’re relatively easy to pick out as I use it but for the price I thought it would be close to pristine. Aside from that it’s high quality and I love that it rehydrates fairly quickly on my moss poles. Comparing to better gro it is 1000x better, doesn’t smell, and has not shown signs of algae growth in the 2-3 weeks I’ve had it.

Excellent
The product is excellent. Too bad supplier does not ship to Israel any more. I would buy it again if they did

I wouldn’t buy any other moss
When I decided I wanted to start incorporating moss poles into my plant care, I did a lot of research. I selected this moss based on recommendations from more experienced plant caregivers, and I am very glad I did. It’s top quality, and it’s really clean. Yes, there are a couple of small sticks here and there, but I easily pick them out and discard them. There is no odor with this moss, except a slight (and expected) plant-y fragrance that is very pleasant. I’ve dampened large quantities of it for pole building, and the unused moss dries out completely over time with no mold or odor. I feel like I lucked out because it’s the only moss I’ve ever used and it’s a great product. I’ve read so many bad things about poor quality moss. My first package was enough for the equivalent of 17 moss pole segments as well as additional non-pole stuff.

Best long fiber Sphagnum moss you can get.
By far the best LFS I've found so far, it's the only one that isn't moldy or full of twigs. Works perfectly for carnivorous plants and orchids. This is the only brand I will buy now. It's great.

The Best
The best New Zealand Sphagnum moss I have used. Clean, easy to work with. My "go to"for many years.

Great Moss for reptile enclosures!
So far so good! Reconstituted the entire brick of moss in a 5 gallon bucket with warm water before spreading around snake's 4x2x4 enclosure. Found only a few small sticks and no thorns. Smelled very slightly of the sea but overall moss was clean and in long strands. Hoping this allows a more consistent higher humidity for my red tailed boa. Will update if any mold starts to grow but considering the heating elements, hoping that won't happen.

Not the quality that I'm used to with this brand.
I have been disappointed with this company for a while with their sphagnum. It does not hold up well and seems to deteriorate much more quickly than it used to. Unfortunately, I cannot find a product that works better so I guess I'll keep using this until I can. I use it for orchids.
