A connoisseur of wine and spirits, Ben Ish was taken from us at a young age. As a tribute to him, we carry on his legacy and to produce excellent wines that he would truly be proud of. All of our wines are strictly Kosher under the Supervision of the OK and every bottle we produce comes with a personalized label. At Ben Ish Winery, we begin the wine making process by selecting the best cabernet Sauvignon grapes. We crush when the brix is optimal and inoculate with a yeast that has been carefully paired with the grape. During the primary fermentation, we punch down the cap as many times as possible in order to extract the tannins, color and flavor. After carefully pressing, we inoculate the must and prepare for the malolactic fermentation. Along the way we add high quality toasted oak to impart a rich oak flavor.
