Christmas present for my son, so far we have found a handful of coins, several tent pegs and some other bits of metal. The detector is functional and can be set to search for different metals, the arm bracket aids use and overall it is a nice piece of kit

Purposely sought a non battery operated metal detector. Specifications say no battery required but upon receipt, 2 x 9v batteries are required, so the product couldn't be used when it was required

I was on a job in a garden and dropped my truck keys looked for them for 2 days no luck then I seen the good reviews and bought it .. wow found the keys under 3 inches of soil and mulch.. handy to keep for work work now

Can confirm that this needs a pair of 9V batteries to work, ie. the larger PP3 ones, disappointingly they were not supplied with this. Assembly instructions are not precisely clear, but really its pretty obvious to see which order to connect up the pole sections and how to attach the equipment, though its not very convenient to have to detach the actual detector in order to change batteries. For just under £40 when ordering this, was not expecting amazing results as this is more of a toy than a serious piece of scientific equipment. However it seems to do the job and when swept near metal pipes and such it was capable of detecting without having to be right next to them. The bleeping is pretty loud even at it's lowest volume setting, so it would be useful to have a mute option. Turning both the sensitivity and discrimination knobs did seem to make a bit of a difference, but again wouldn't really think that it could tell the difference between common and precious metals as it did still go off but not as often when swept near steel.

Previous one got broken, kids! Amazing fun. You can spend literally all day scouring. Very adventurous as you never know what you'll find. It's very easy to work but comes with instructions to get you started. Happy scavenging. Highly recommend 👌

Qualität könnte ein bisschen besser sein, aber für den Preis ist das völlig okay. Sehr leicht. Der all disc Mode findet wirklich alles auch in tiefen über 15/20cm. Er soll zwar wasserdicht sein aber da bin ich mir wegen der Qualität nicht 100%ig sicher und habs nicht ausprobiert.

It beeps near metal but it's hardly accurate it easy to control. My kid was excited but got bored easily with this one

Wir haben zwei von den Metalldetektoren gekauft, damit jedes Kind am Strand seinen eigenen hat. Die Detektoren funktionieren alle beide nicht richtig und sind meiner Meinung nach Schrott.

War für mich leider nicht zu gebrauchen da der Detektor auf so ziemlich alles organische reagiert hat
