I got these for my husband, and they are his go to dress shoes. They give him the support and stability he needs for walking while keeping his feet comfortable.

I have a bad hammer toe on one foot, that hurts when something pushes hard on it. This is the 4th pair of shoes I have tried to wear. And, it is the first that really fits well and doesn't hurt my toe. The shoes come with 2 pair of spacer inserts to put under the orthopedic insole to adjust the height of the inside of the shoes. They are 1/16 inch and 1/8 inch, so you can reduce the height by 1/16, 1/8, or 3/16 inches to eliminate what feels like too loose a fit. The orthopedic insoles are thick, soft and well shaped. With only the 1/16 spacer they fit very well, don't hurt my feet at all, and are as comfortable as any shoes I can remember. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but well worth it.

So far so good. I have only worn them in the house to break in without my orthidics. I have a hammertoe and don't want to irritate it before evaluating the fit and comfort . From the start it is nice just to be able to slide my feet into them. Selections of extra wide shoes are very limited and I have not found anything like this shoe. for now I rated them 4 stars. My hammertoe does show the pressure through the upper leather in the top front of the shoe but this may just be unavoidable because of my condition.

I like the shoes but I should have ordered a half size larger as I did for the pair of black shoes I previously ordered.

The strap makes the shoes look like there for old people but a good fit and insole options for thickness makes for a good fitting shoe.

GREAT CUSHION AND SUPPORT- ONLY WISH THEY OFFERED IN A 12.5 - HAD TO BUY THE 13 AND IT IS ABOUT 1/2 IN TOO MUCH AND HAD TO PUT PADDING IN THE FRONT TO TAKE UP THE GAP. BULKING LOOKING BUT IT DOES WHAT YOU NEED IT FOR (COMFORT AND SUPPORT). I'M ON MY FEET ALL DAY AND SO FAR SO GOOD WITH WHAT I EXPECTED.
