It is solidly built and straightforward to use, with a nice tactile switch that sits securely on a nightstand or the floor without sliding around. I ordered the black version so it would remain low-key and discreet on my black nightstand, and the overall quality and durability impressed me so much that I ordered two more the very next day. Initially, I bought one to dim the C9 LED crystal bulbs on two strings of patio/decor lights that were running a bit too bright. While I probably got lucky with that specific combination, it handles the LEDs wonderfully with zero issues. It also works brilliantly on my bedside lamps, allowing me to dial in a much more cozy and relaxed environment than the standard bulbs provided on lamps that lacked built-in dimmers. Highly recommended for anyone looking to take precise control of their space's ambiance.

I bought it to give my daughter some extra light at her desk and wanted to be able to dim or brighten it as needed. It's incredibly easy to use, simple, and just works. The power cord is plenty long enough for her setup, and the price is very fair for the quality. Thank you

I love using this. It allows me to dim the chandeliers I have in the bedroom so its not too bright and allows me to use it as a nightlight when I need to. Going to get it for my sons' room next.

It's a good dimmer. I use it for my reptiles basking light so it won't be too hot. So it's compatible with reptile lights. Only complaint is the flickering. Some days it's always flickering and some there isn't any.

This plug-in dimmer switch far exceeded my expectations and the performance of similar brands I’ve tried previously. It works as well as the reliable wall switches installed in my home. For best performance make sure you’ve done some research on the type of lamp and bulb you are using. Overall, however, a standard bulb and everyday kind of residential lamp, paired with the TopGreener switch, will work well. I had the option to purchase floor lamps either with or without built-in dimmers. I bought these to pair with the less costly lamps and saved a good deal of money. I recommend these.

I bought this Topgreener tabletop dimmer because it was budget-friendly and promised compatibility with dimmable LEDs. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete "hit-or-miss" product, and for my specific setup, it was a total miss. Why It Didn't Work For Me: Zero Response from Grow Lights: I tried using this with a dimmable LED grow light, and the fixture simply wouldn't respond to the slide control. Instead of dimming smoothly, the light just sat there and flickered constantly. This unit didn't work with my heat lamp either. Lack of Temperature Management: The unit felt a bit temperamental under the load. Without a built-in temperature gauge or clear heat indicators, it feels like a roll of the dice whether it will play nice with your specific bulb. The Silver Lining: It is cheap, the 6ft cord gives you plenty of slack to reach a table or shelf, and the physical slide control moves smoothly. Final Verdict: While the price point is appealing, the internal circuitry just doesn't seem robust enough to handle the specialized drivers found in many LED grow lights, nor did it want to work with my heat lamp. If you are trying to automate or dim a plant or brooder setup, I would recommend spending a little more on a higher-end dimmer to avoid the annoying strobe effect.

No surprises with this product, it works just like you would expect. Plug your lamp into the extension cord, plug the extension cord into the wall socket. You're done. I'm using it with an incandescent bulb, and the dimming function is very smooth. I assume that it would work just as well with an LED. I'm no expert, but it feels like it is good quality. Little felt pads on the bottom of the controller help keep it in place without additional adhesion.
