It grows across Europe and the location it is grown in has a significant impact on the aroma and therapeutic properties of the oil. Our standard lavender is a blend of several varieties carefully selected to create a standard oil with familiar lavender aroma and packed with therapeutic benefits. Blending makes the oil more economical and perfect for skincare, fragrance and soap making applications. Lavender is arguably the most versatile and popular of all essential oils. It has an abundance of uses, blends with most other oils and is gentle enough for babies. Our natural lavender oil has a complex aroma, unlike strong synthetic fragrances that many people are used to. Botanical Family: Lamiaceae Commonly associated with: Lavender essential oil has many applications. Used in preparations for the skin, it is antiseptic, toning and balancing; suited to all skin types, especially more sensitive skin that is easily irritated.
