Travelon Anti-Theft Metro Stadium Mini

First impressions: Exactly as described. A relatively flat mini-bag just large enough to hold my passport, credit cards, & phone. I like that the zipper can be locked down and the other anti-theft aspects. I also like that when you open the top, it accordions out a bit so it’s easier to get into the bag. The navy blue color is accurate as shown in the photos. It’s flat & small enough that I can put it cross-body, and then put my jacket on and you can’t see it. The real test will come next week when I use it on my trip to the UK. Update: I used it all week while traveling. It fit perfectly under my jacket without adding bulk. The straps lengthen quite a bit, so you can easily adjust where the bag is (closer to your shoulder or hip). It is rather small, so I really could only fit my passport and a small, flat wallet in it. I did use the card slots and they worked quite well for easy and quick access to a credit card. I really appreciated that the zipper could be locked down. Overall, a great travel bag but understand that it is small and not meant for more than a couple small items.

I was looking a small cross body bag. Though it seems to fit my passport, don't like that it barely fits my phone. But otherwise quality and security on this bag is perfect.

This item was great if you are looking for a compact small carrier. It fit a sliim cc/business card size wallet and my iphone 14 cell phone (barely). Unfortunately when I added some cash, I was not able to close it so I had to put my phone in my pocket.

It’s getting warmer and I don’t really feel like carrying a big or even midsized purse around. Carrying my phone in my back pocket isn’t the safest or smartest option for quick errands either. And I think we can all agree that women’s shorts or pants pockets are horribly small. All I wanted was a small and safe bag to fit my phone and this is perfect! A lot of the other bags are too big. If I have space, I’ll fill it and I don’t want to do that if I don’t need to. I also wanted safety features not present with simple phone lanyards—slash/cut proof strap and body, RFID, etc. I can also hook my AirPod case to the hook on the back. I’m very happy! Update 06/01/2025 Had a guy try to pickpocket or skim my card while I was checking out at PetSmart, and he failed, thanks to this bag! Be careful while at the register when your bag is likely open. These people are getting very clever. Keep the bag closed and close to your body and put everything back asap before you walk away. Don’t allow yourself to be distracted. The bag also comes in at stadium dimensions, so you shouldn’t need a clear bag. I’ve gotten into a graduation and comedy venue with this bag, no problem.

This was my “purse” for a 30 day trip to Europe (I’m from US). Kept my passport, wallet, sometimes phone, and cash all in here. It’s super small, lightweight, and has little zipper clips which make you feel confident that no one can pickpocket your bag. Well, someone would have to be INSANELY skilled to pickpocket this bag and you’d have to be really distracted not to notice. It’s a little small at times, a thin wallet, passport, and my phone barely fit in there. But overall it’s worth it because I would rather it too small sometimes than too big all the time. It is NOT waterproof, but water resistant. In medium rain it will get the stuff inside damp. Overall, very happy with the product.

I love the size, but when I adjusted the straps, they popped out (due to being folded up) and the strap didn't lay flat. It looks silly when wearing it. It's a very dark navy blue, almost looking black. If not for the straps, I would have kept it. See photo--straps look like this while I'm wearing it.

Love this mini bag for travel. Just big enough for the essentials with rfid blocking credit card pockets. The back pocket is a plus for small folded papers or my phone. It worked perfectly for sightseeing - lightweight enough to carry on trams, hiking, and through museums. Easy to fit inside a carry on for plane travel. Cross body design was comfortable to wear all day. Highly recommend for travel.

Using it daily, a bit small for travel ( have a bigger Travelon bag).

Loved this bag. Felt safe using it and I loved the zip with a clip lock. Can fit a passport, 3 or 4 credit type cards, small pkt tissues, cash, mini hand sanitiser and band aids. You will need a bigger bag if you want anything else really

Perfect size for my Samsung s21 5g. It also fits my lipgloss, card holder and a small hand sanitizer.

This is a very slim, small Travelon crossbody. I don't like carrying around large totes or purses out in the world so this is perfect. I put my most used cards in the internal RFID slots, the rest of them inside the well of the purse, along with a smallish packable tote for carrying purchases. My iPhone 'just fits' in the the slit pocket on the back. Anything bigger (mine's an 11) would not fit so take note of that. It would have to go inside the purse. Or it might not fit at all. This does the trick for me for daily wear. It is like a wallet with a strap. It is also small enough to tuck into my carry on tote when going through security, etc. at the airport and on the plane - where you cannot wear your personal item on your body or flight attendants request that you take it off. I would not be depending too much on its anti-theft qualities, however, nor buying it solely for that reason. Professionals would have it off you in a few seconds whizzing by and grabbing it from behind. The strap is clipped on to the bag on the one side with one of the anti-theft Travelon clips - more flimsy than on most Travelon clips - and sewn into the bag on the other side. The sewing would tear very easily if grabbed aggressively from behind. So, if you are looking for a dedicated stadium bag or a large sized wallet style back, or an extra pocket or two to carry over your shoulder, this is the ticket. If you need more anti-theft protection check out some of the other higher priced, higher end Travelon anti-theft products. Keep in mind this a one of the cheaper Travelon bags. I paid under $30 for mine.
