Very accurate and devastating pellets with a Magnum
My 1st Generation .22 GAMO MAGNUM loves these. These Hunter Extremes are hole in hole accurate at 25 yards in my rifle. I have not been able to test them any further. At 18.52grains my rifle shoots these at an average of 800fps with 35 joules, these pellets pack a big punch and devastating on anything it hits. I recommend them on Magnums or PCP, they need to be pushed close to 800 fps or greater in order to appreciate these heavy pellets. My Magnum does not like any pellets below 18 grains, I tried many pellets, and I wish the terminators were accurate in my rifle, only because the weight is just right and my Magnum launches them at 900 fps with 33 joules but accuracy is no bueno. Another devastating pellet is the H&N baracuda hunter hollow point 18.21 grain. Very accurate in my rifle with the same velocity, but as you can see in my pictures the baracuda hunter ridiculously expand. They expand even more than the hunter extremes but the extremes seem to penetrate a little further and have a small noticeable larger shockwave, if that makes any sense. I also added a picture with a bar of soap that the hunter extreme had hit at 25 yards, amazing result. Like I said, if your rifle can push these at about 800fps or even launch these bad boys greater than 25 joules then you should definitely give them a try and see if your rifle will like them.

Awesome pellet
Kick Ass accurate pellet by H&N , if your air rifle has the power to hurl these pellets , a must have for hunting pellets. Within 40 yards of impacting intended target, these pellets will put a hurtin to any creature it comes into contact with. I have fired these pellets from all 3 air rifles I have and each one produces more than acceptable accuracy and incredible impact on intended target. I have put the hurtin to plenty of Feral creatures with these and they are a pleasure to shoot. I have shot creatures up to 34 lbs with these and dropped them producing horrific kill shots to them with these. Feral dogs, cats, goats, pigs, Roosters, doves, mongoose, you name it, these pellets have put a hurtin to them in droves. Actually hit one feral goat flat in the face with them at 35 yards, that goat did a back flip and was on the ground doing the Watusi for about 2 minutes, did not even make an attempt to run any further . Will purchase again without hesitation. These are not sissy boy plinking pellets either, these pellets are intended for killing creatures without a doubt

Knocks them down
I shoot these through my Gamo swarm viper gen 3I rifle with great success. I dont have a chronograph or anything fancy, but i can tell you at roughly 50 yd these pellets yield my tightest grouping. You notice the quality increase in these pellets the moment you pick up the tin and feel the weight difference. The skirts on these are casted from a more robust blend of lead and maintain their shape. You rarely find one that is deformed like a crosman or gamo pellet. H & N actually requests higher quality blends of lead from the foundry they obtain it from in germany, and it shows. As far as pest control goes, i'm pretty sure these are the grim reaper for squirrels. These send them into instant shock upon impact, i never see one run after placing an ethical shot. Spend the money, get these pellets if you want to effectively hunt critters.

They do what they say they do, the accuracy seems good
I like the pellets they seem to be accurate and that's really all I can say about it.

Raccoons. Ruger Impact Max .22. 15-30 Meters.
Urban Raccoons: MASSIVE, well-fed, highly aggressive, highly intelligent rats with teeth which can tear a three-year-old apart and that can use doorknobs. We have someone in our neighborhood who, until recently, fed them for 10 years. No one could figure out why they were so consistently attacking neighborhood dogs and cats and beheading kittens. (These are the facts. You couldn’t make this stuff up.) The unwise and illegal practice has since ceased, which has increased their aggression and visibility, but also makes it simpler to provide them with a more existential option, going forward. Alloys, “green” pellets; ineffective. H&M Barracuda 18 grain hollow point; highly effective. I recently wanted to try the H&N Sniper rounds because when I encounter these animals, often I surprise them at extremely close range, 10 to 15 m, and if I don’t drop them with the first shot, which with an 18 grain pellet is rare but it happens, I need to be able to reach them before they go over the last wall which is about 30 m away. This rifle is a break barrel spring/piston which gives me the best possible velocity below pcp, and I have been able to get off three shots in that distance if I need to. But I’m always concerned about that last shot both hitting the mark and turning them off, efficiently. So up near the chamber, I have pellets mounted in rubber where I can access them quickly, and I was going to switch to a longer range pellet if it gave me better accuracy at distance. I did not find that to be the case with the H&N Sniper with this rifle. It’s problematic to mix ammunition I realize, but sometimes it can work. But in this case it does not. I’m already getting 1 inch groups at 15 m and about 1 1/2 to 2 inch groups at 25 m with the H&N barracuda. (This is all hand-held. I’m, you know, not hunting raccoons from the bench.) The Sniper did not improve on this. I’m sure it would be fine if you only used that round by it self. But I need a more versatile option. I’ll be staying with the Barracudas with this rifle. I will say this; I got tight groups at distance with the Sniper, just not consistently both short and long, so if you’re not doing CQB with raccoons with a single shot (me, not the raccoons :), and are reaching out to touch something at a much greater distance, then as the name implies, the Sniper may work for you. However… from what I have seen, the Sniper is about penetration not so much about knockdown. When the Barracuda hits, it actually sounds like the target got punched. Hard. So after experimenting with many many different types; H&N hornets, Crossman rockets, Crossman Premier hollow points, Diablos, Gamo Red fires (seriously?), Ruger super points, now H&N Snipers, the H&N Barracuda is by far the best. It’s actually heavier at 18.5 than the 17.9 Sniper. And here’s the clincher for me with the Barracuda with a .22 caliber up around 800fps the HNB (that’s what I call them) does not behave like a typical hollow point, it opens up and has “teeth“, hence the name I suppose. The Sniper penetrates but when you’re trying to bring down an aggressive animal that’s not all you need. I rolled a raccoon at 15’ with a Barracuda. I have resolved the existential problem for a number of raccoons at varying distances with this pellet, and the vast majority have been one shot – one kill. But if you need a second round, unless stuff goes really sideways, you won’t need a third. Tip: raccoons are smart but they do not understand barrel-mounted tactical flashlights. It’s like a freeze-ray. Put the red dot between the two gold dots. You’re welcome. —- Update: So... since I posted the above review, I bought an Hatsan Flash .22 PCP. It LOVES these things.

Buy from Crowstree
These pellets have performed great in my Gamo Swarm Magnum PRO 10X GEN3i plenty of nock down power. My last purchase on here was from Crowstree and they package them beautifully. too often I have cans of pellets coming to me all beat up and a lot of the skirt damage, which is frustrating for a premium pallet, but it’s due to miss handling. Crowstree did a beautiful job on packaging. There was no damage to the tins and I’m quite certain the pallet will be perfect. Thank you too Crowstree for the extra care in my purchase

H&N a VERY Accurate 22 cal. Pellet
I have a new Benjamin Armada 22cal. PCP rifle shooting from a tripod stand at 25 yards. After sighting in (top left 3" target, 1" center bull), I tried my 3 different brands of 22 cal. pellets. These are all 10 shot groups. Bottom left-RWS Super-H-Point 14.2 gr. Top right-Crosman Premier Hollow Point 14.3 gr. Bottom right-H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme 18.52 gr. The Crosman Premier's are accurate but the H&N Baracuda's are extremely accurate. I viewed many videos showing the Crosman Premier being accurate out of the Benjamin rifles, and they are. But I am extremely impressed with the H&N brand, which the picture shows. Every pellet rifle will shoot differently and pellet weights will make a difference with the rifle. You'll need to compare as I did. If you're looking for a super accurate, hard hitting, expanding hollow point pellet, you won't be disappointed. The H&N also dispatches critters very quick! What they advertise is spot on. 5+ rating! I will be purchasing many more!

Quality pellets, consistant and accurate shot for shot
Very accurate pellets on my Diana air rifles. Load into the breech perfectly,no slop or play like some other pellets ive tried with undersized heads. (In which with Spring airguns the pellet should fit snugly and not just drop in). They shoot fairly flat in the model 34 and all in one hole on the target, with the model 24 the grouping is the same but with the weight of these drop fairly quickly so if your planning on using these in a sub 500 fps gun i would keep the shots within 10 meters unless you want to run out of elevation adjustment on the sight. All in all quite pleased though with the accuracy and performace of these pellets, whether its on paper or rats in the back yard..for rodents these drop them on the spot with no problems at all with a properly placed shot

Letale
Pallino robusto e molto letale. Ci vuole una carabina potente altrimenti non rende. Peccato lasci a desiderare come precisione oltre i 40 metri. Ricordo a tutti che parlo per la mia esperienza e sparo con una Diana 24 joule.
