I decided to use "Dinner Candles" to improve the experience at dinner time with my dear wife, enhancing our focus and attention on each other. The idea was not mine (I read about it), but surely has a positive impact. This led to shopping for candles. There are far too many candle options in the world, in my opinion. Nevertheless, I settled on these as my permanent choice. Bolsius makes a good variety of candles. I tried, and very much like their taper candles; very pretty and dress a table nicely. After a while, I wanted to try their straight (not tapered) candles, so I got the 12hour candles. The straight candles are my favorite, though all, from Bolsius, seem to burn without dripping or stinking-up the place, as you can see in the attached photo. I don't want perfumed candles. I don't want to smell candles burning. I just want the feeling, focus and mood of candle-lit dinners. To get the results I get consistently, you need to... Mount the candles straight up vertically. Trim the wick to about 1/2" and keep it there, throughout the burn! Avoid drafts that stir the flame. Bolsius uses 2 different kinds of wax in their candles. The main fuel is the core of the candle. It burns as it should and slightly faster that the outside layer, which is a bit 'harder' and burns more slowly than the core (see photo). This layered method allows the molten wax to burn in a small pool, inside the harder outside rim and not drip. I mean NO DRIPPING in 12 hours of burn time... Awesome! Beautiful flame. No Stink. No Smoke (when trimmed correctly). No Dripping. No Brainer.

Excellent quality candles and the ivory color went beautifully with our floral pieces on the candelabras. Very glad we purchased these candles and the burn rate was great. highly recommend these candles!! Perfect for church use!!!

The candles aren't straight, most seem to have a slight curve, some fit more loosely than others in the holders. But they do last a long time ( I haven't timed them though ) and they don't hardly drip at all.

These take about 12 hours to burn down, with little to no dropping down the sides. We go through a box in about six weeks. Every so often, we get a “dud.” Meaning, a candle that burns down in about four hours with a a lot of dripping down the sides. This happens about once in every three boxes. In other words, I’ve found these candles to be of exceptional quality.

These candles are the candles you want. I keep getting them because they outlast all other brands I have used in recent decades, as the quality of everything seems to have degraded beyond their worth. Fortunately you can trust me on this, and I ‘discovered’ the brand after reading a review of today’s best candle brands in a good, reputable magazine in interiors and these candles were mentioned. They don’t smell badly, just a faint whisp of burnt wax expected when extinguished. They’re fairly sturdy, and don’t really drip much, if at all.

What I did not like after ordering and receiving this product was that I could not order it again. The other types of Bolsius candles, no problem, but for some reason not the Household candles. Unable to import to Holland. I now buy candles from a Dutch distributor which are not the Bolsius brand.

No drip! Finally after buying so many brands i found what i needed and they dont burn fast.

Perfect. Non-drip. Look beautiful. A little small in the base, but with a few drips from another candle just-in-case, they stand perfectly.
