Excellent and easy to use for homeschool and office use. It's heavy duty and has good weight to the product, it feels very sturdy. I love the pink because it matches my office decor and I have been organizing my lessons and work at the same time. Easy to set up and easy to adjust for page sizes!!

I was in a bind to get some book presentations done for a customer. We could not find the hole punch needed, therefore I took everything home and stopped at home depot to get one. Of course, they did not carry it, so I looked up on Amazon and got it delivered to my house that same evening. It worked perfectly and was easy to use! The bosses were impressed and the customer as well.

Works well, I suggest larger spines for over 30 pages. Good value.

Excellent machine....! Why pay twice as much? This can do the job just fine. Great for organizing loose paperwork...recipes, music,..etc... As long as the binder isn't full...It can be reopened and more papers can be added! Smaller sized paperwork than letter size is no problem--just trim off the excess coils with scissors.

Amazon flagged this item for its high return rate. I took time to read some of the reviews and decided to make the purchase. I am very happy with this binder machine. Out did not have instructions so I had to look up a you tube video. Once I figured out out, it was very easy to use and works perfectly for my needs. I learned that only about 8 pages at a time can be cut, else the machine will jam. I had 70-page books to create, so it was slow going. The features were not explained so I had to learn how to along the paper for good, even hole punches. Made several hole punch errors before i got the hang of it. So practice on blank paper several times before working your project. Just take your time and the machine does a terrific job. I recommend this product for your smaller binder book projects.

Very disappointed with this binding machine. The quality feels extremely cheap, the parts are flimsy, and it’s frustratingly difficult to use. The punches don’t line up properly, the binding process takes too much effort, and it jams easily. It feels poorly designed and not durable at all. I expected a smooth and efficient machine, but instead it wastes time and causes frustration. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable binding machine.

I’m impressed. Read the instructions. Buy bigger binds than what comes with it. As a homeschooling family with four kids, I print most of their work vs buying the books. I WISH I’d gone ahead and bought this years ago. I’ve successfully bound six books in the last week. There’s still some tweaking I need to do, but it’s very easy to adjust and use. It feels sturdy. I had to punch no more than about 10 pages at a time, more than that and it stuck. I like that its design serves both purposes - punches holes and binds, without the need for an additional machine. I really don’t even need my traditional 3-ring binders anymore because this makes thin, easy to store books. I tested lots of folded pages! Since I couldn’t get the setting right, where there wouldn’t be an extra notch cut at one end, I punched till I found a whole space at the ends, then marked the line I needed the paper to be on with a thin strip of blue painters tape. That way the knob can’t go past it, and I know where to place my papers/plastic cover if the knob moves unexpectedly. The last note I’ll add, for anyone printing seat work, pay attention to how the pages print. It was super helpful printing on the short edge so the binding clamp was always positioned at the top of the page. Overall: If I’d known what I was missing I’d have bought this years ago. Just buy it! This is a nice machine to add to the collection of tools that make homeschooling easier.

I've had no problems making comb-bound booklets with 8.5x11 (US letter) pages. Use the included cardboard sheet to do 6-8 test punches to clean the grease from the teeth. Slide the red size selector to the far left and ~10 pages punch easily. The teeth holes line up nicely within the 8.5" page length and all you need to do is trim the comb on the end (it is designed for 21 holes). The included 3/8" comb binders can hold about 20 pages if you are patient. The only caution I have is to only punch 1 sheet of clear plastic presentation covers at a time. The plastic is gummy enough that the teeth won't cut two or more at a time. One at a time, it works fine. I cut a full box of 100 plastic cover pages to test this unit before moving onto paper (10 sheets at a time). Very pleased with the value for money.
