Classical Guitar Method Volume 2: For Classical and Fingerstyle Guitar

Volume 2 - I cant wait to progress into this one. Working through Volume 1 at the moment and loving every page, exercise, learning to read and appreciate music - for the first time in my guitar playing life at 64! Cant recommend Bradford Werner Classical Guityar Method enough.. I think its just that good.

One of a first-rate set, plus youtube and amazon endorsements, makes this a singular method for everyman; age, pace, and ability notwithstanding. A great musical resource and highly recommended

Easy to follow and satisfying to hear your own rapid progress of learning through the selections of music offered in the programme.

I bought this for one of my grandkids. Unfortunately, she already had a copy. I asked if I could return it. Amazon refunded my money and did not request me to return the book, which will now be in somebody else’s Christmas stocking .!Thank you Amazon.

Nicely put together book. Just to be clear though this is for real beginners - the pieces are very simple single note tunes for the most part.

Easy to follow book, nice pieces to play. Good 2nd method book from this author.

I learn visually and having the accompanying videos really help to judge my progress and understand the process.

I am a grade level 4 classical guitarists. I learned everything from Bradford Werner method books. Plus he has videos to help you with his books.

This is a continuation of Vol 1 which the author distributes gratis on his web site. Bradford Werner is an excellent teacher out of British Columbia. His web site “This is Classical Guitar” is a treasure trove of music, video lessons, and great performances curated by Werner. He has a vast library of instructional videos, including the lessons of this book, originally intended for his students but generously made available to the general public. Volume 2 will take you to the advanced-beginner level of study. It is best used with Werner’s instructional videos or a teacher. A great bonus are the many duets for student and teacher that encourage the student to play with other musicians.For a more comprehensive method book, I would suggest the two-volume Aaron Shearer books, either old or revised. The follow-up to Werner’s method books are his graded repertoire series, available for online download, which are excellent and can be used with a teacher or self-study.

Si el inglés no es un problema, este es el mejor método de guitarra clásica que he probado. Las lecciones del libro acompañadas de las lecciones online son perfectas para ir avanzando con la guitarra clásica. Con este y con el método uno aprendes los conceptos básicos y a leer partituras de forma gradual. Sin duda, Werner es el mejor profesor online para guitarra clásica.
