Great Rash Guard, But Definitely Size Up
Overall, this is a great rash guard and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The material feels high quality, offers solid sun protection, and is comfortable for long days on the water. It quickly dries after getting wet, which is great. With that said, the sizing definitely runs tight. I usually wear a medium, but after reading reviews I ordered both a large and an extra large. The large was very tight and felt restrictive, especially around the chest and shoulders. The extra large was the clear winner. It wasn’t loose or baggy at all, but it felt much more comfortable and breathable without that constricted feeling I had in the large. Once I found the right size, I was very happy with it. If you’re between sizes or don’t like a super tight compression fit, I strongly recommend sizing up twice your normal size. For reference I’m 5’7 & 175lbs.

My favorite one !
It stays tight , great for surfing and that sun protection . Comfortable you don’t feel like taking it out even after surfing . Good quality versátil in and out of water

Great Rashguard
No joke, this is skin tight, but not uncomfortable. Appearance wise, if you are not Fit, it will show every bulge. Well made, worth the money. Just need to workout a bit harder at the Gym. Do consider stepping up a size larger then what you normally wear. I'm in between a S - M, so went with a M and ok with. Not designed to be loose fitting. Does not feel restrictive. Will wear for Tow Foiling sessions and Surfing. Stay Wavy!

Way too small
I’m 5’ 10”, 165 lbs, somewhat athletic build. Ordered a medium, it was so tight that I needed help removing the rash guard. Reordered a large, fit was perfect.

Trust O'Neill's Size Chart. It's Accurate!
The quality of O'Neill products are well-iknown, and this product did not disappoint. Believe the size measurements! I first bought the Men's Small, which was my recommended size for the product. It felt really tight, so I ordered the Medium. The Medium, which was not my recommended size by O'Neill, was not as tight, so it felt more comfortable than the Small. Still, it was clearly too big overall: arms noticeably long, fabric bunched at the seam. In the end, I kept the Small (again, that was O'Neill's recommendation for my height and weight). I've never had a rash guard before, so I bet it is supposed to be this tight, and that it will feel more comfortable when I'm in the water.

My everyday shirt.
I have been purchasing these shirts for decades not. They are called my magic shirts, because they are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They also wick away sweat from your body. I love the way the gusseted arm pits eliminate the irritation most shirts cause to the underarm because there is no seam sawing across the delicate underarm area. They represent a silky lightweight fabric that works well as a sole shirt, or an undershirt/bottom layer.

looks good and a great fit
Rash guard works well and size chart seemed good for me. I am 5'10" and 145lbs, the size S fit me well. I used this to SCUBA dive in Florida Keys in July and worked well. It was an 87 degree day and when I got out of water after my two dives and was in the sun (I got the black rash guard), I did not get hot since it was wet and the water was evaporating. I was on the boat and it was moving so there is that. Seems like good material to keep you from getting scratched up if you accidentally bumped against the coral (I did not) but yet it was not too thick or anything like that, I felt I moved very easily. Not sure how easy you could put a wetsuit on over this (will find out some other time) but seems like it would easily slide on over this rash guard with no problem. The rash guard also looks good! (a bonus) All you could want in a rash guard. If you prefer a looser fitting rash guard, I would order a size up. Mine was not too tight but just right for my needs of tight enough to not get tangled or caught on my gear, but not cutting off any circulation, getting red marks ,or anything crazy like that. A good sort of stretchy type of material if that makes sense I would definitely buy this again!

Spandex rots out
The spandex started to rot out seriously after about one summer. I expected an O'Neill product to last a bit longer. Maybe I'll just go with cheaper generics that last for a season.

Decent but tight
A very tight rash vest, order a size or two bigger, especially if you’re of an athletic build. Otherwise, a decent vest that looks good and works well.
