Mayne Cape Cod 14in Self-Watering Square Planter, Black

Love these planters! Solid. Sturdy. Heavy enough that they don’t blow away, but not so heavy I can’t pick them up, when needed. I can’t speak to the self watering function because I use them for faux flowers, but they are really beautiful planters that should last for many years.

Wanted something that would hold up outdoors, to replace a couple shrubs at the entrance to garage that had overgrown their spots. These are just the right height, not too big or too small, super strong, and will accommodate growth of our new "fiber optic grass" plants easily. (They love water, so having the reservoir is absolutely perfect for them.) These appear to be extremely high quality, easy to clean, and are made of a material impervious to weather, sun, dirt. There were no holes drilled for drainage but that just allowed us to drill them where we wanted them. We did not opt to drill the holes in the top because we will just water them along with the rest of the containers. They look amazing and we couldn't be happier with them. Highly recommend this product!

Nice planters just what I was looking for. I almost didn’t purchase because it was marked as frequently returned item, but I’m glad I did! And looking at the good reviews, not sure why Amazon labeled as such. Anyways, They’re good quality and the perfect addition to our front entry way. I like that they don’t look cheap, they look like a similar brand called Walpole Designs, only not as pricey.

I have 6 Mayne self watering containers. They are the best. They stay out all winter in New England and there is no cracking. The water reservoir allows you to skip a couple of days watering in the summer without plants suffering.

I purchased two of these planters for my front porch. They are sturdy and attractive. The planters have a built-in water reservoir so your plants have a steady supply of water. My only complaint is that these planters did not come with a hole on the rim for you to add the water. You have to drill the hole yourself. I previously purchased the rectangular version of this planter and those came with the appropriate holes.

I couldn't be happier with these purchases. ...I was tired of trying to maintain flowers on our front entry and this purchase is exactly what I was going for. Planters are the perfect size (14") for the narrow space, sturdy, quality material. I really like the Cape Code style. I ordered a 2pack of 37" cedar topiary trees , Aummooh brand, on Amazon too, and they worked perfectly. We used a couple layers of cardboard inside the planter to support the cedar tree pot (we used cardboard from the boxes the items were delivered in). Highly recommend both of these products!
