I made the mistake of not taking a picture of what the end job looks like. Had to adjust top and bottom rail middle rail left it in its place ....all because the braces didn't line up I reused the hardware that came with my bed that is already attached to the side boards...this is strong bed frame I really feel like I will have no worries.. after installation now if you have no tools this is not for you but in order for this to work you will need all parts if you have no carpet ...that was the reason for buying this product I have no carpet. And the frame sliding on bare floor just wore them out to the point of no return .now if you have carpet I can see you getting away with out the braces..the frame will stay in place. Over all of you have bare floor you will need the whole set up and you will have to drill new holes like a did so remember if you have tools you'll need to do it right on bare floor .. carpet you can get away without the braces instructions are half clear if you're bed sit high you will need the metal leg extension I would put that together first...other than that I'm happy bed bed is solid I have no complaints for a cheap price not bad it will take you a two hours to build when you find out what all you need but to make adjustments you will need to drill 4 holes but this product is solid for my king size bed

This was exactly what I needed after the existing metal slats/support legs on my bed got warped and twisted after years of use on hardwood floors. (And enthusiastic adult activities...) The package came quickly, the package included everything I needed and then some. The install for me was very simple and straightforward. I did not end up needing a drill, and I was able to adjust it perfectly to fit across and height wise (the legs have extenders if you have a taller bed but I didnt need them). I was able to put this together by myself and I'm not the strongest or handiest person around. I'd recommend this product if you love your current bed frame and don't want to replace the whole thing. Which is exactly what I needed because its part of a furniture set that I was given by my grandparents :)

Great supports. Went together pretty quick. Had no issues with it. Bed use to sag a lot in the middle and with this its like a brand new bed. Best night of sleep ive had in months. I would recommend this if you are in need of some extra support or new supports under your box spring

I'd give this a 5 if it only had decent assembly instructions. The ones that are included are totally useless, save for the parts list. Watching Youtube videos helps somewhat. Here's a brief set of instructions: 1. Determine if you need the extension plate for each center clamp (depending on the height of the rails on your bed frame). If you do, attach them. 2. Screw in the feet into the center clamps. 3. Take 2 cross supports, and slide them through a center clamp. Extend the supports until they reach over the rails of the frame (they should lay flat on the rails). Tighten the L-bolt so that the assembly is secure. Do this for the other 2 sets of supports and center clamps. Make sure all the clamps face the same direction. For these instructions make sure that the L-bolts face the foot of the bed. 4. Take the 3 assemblies and lay them on the bed frame rails approximately where you think they should go. DON'T screw them into the frame yet. Adjust the feet so that they will allow the assembly ends to make contact with the bed frame rails. (For this next part, the 2 x-frames will connect the 3 cross supports. The end of each x-frame with the notch will always be towards the foot of the bed, and attach on the top hole.) 5. Starting at the head of the bed, take an x-frame and bolt the ends WITHOUT THE NOTCH to the top and bottom holes on the center clamp. Make sure you orient things so the notch at the other end (i.e. connecting to the center span assembly) is on top and facing up. I recommend having the long end of the bolts not stick out. 6. Bolt the ends of that x-frame, and the end of the other x-frame (without the notch), to the center clamp of the middle assembly. 7. Bolt the final x-frame end into the last assembly, near the foot of the bed. If the notch isn't facing up then you attached that x-frame upside down to the center clamp. 8. Check that you bolted the x-frames to the top and bottom holes on each center clamp. 9. Center the entire assembly from the head to the foot of the bed so that you have good support between where your hips and shoulders will be. Starting with the cross support at the head of the bed, drill a small guide hole through the holes at each end of the cross support, and screw in the screws into the frame rails. Now that the whole assembly is anchored, you can go ahead and put in the other 4 screws. 10. Check the height of the feet. They should put just a tiny bit of upward pressure, no more. And you're done.

This product is well made and very sturdy. Assembly was very simple.

All needed hardware (9 nuts and bolts for the support assembly, and 6 screws for securing the supports to a wooden bed frame) are included - you will need a Phillips head screwdriver and a mallet or hammer. Setup was mechanically easy, though time consuming and a little confusing at times. The instructions are a bit light on exactly how the cross supports attach. One side of each cross support has a notch cut out of it - this notch fits around the horizontal angle bar and you attach to the top most bolt hole. It took a little bit to work out exactly which set of holes to use. I also opted to fully unscrew the feet from their plastic receivers and then hammer the receiver into the metal leg piece before screwing the foot back into the receiver. Though the plastic seems to be rugged, I doubt smacking the foot with a hammer and putting that stress on the threads is a great idea and others commented about trouble with the plastic threads failing and I imagine these two things could be related. I've seen others that added a nut to the foot to provide extra support and take some of the stress off the plastic threads, so I'll keep that in mind if I run into any issues though they seem plenty strong for the moment. You'll want to adjust the 3 cross bars to the correct length and lock them in place, attach the optional height extension brackets (leave the bolts finger tight only because you will need to remove one of them), and attach the feet, and then position the three supports paying attention to the orientation of the brackets so that all three are oriented in the same direction. Then attach the center support to the bed using the included screws, and then using the center bar as your reference point attach the cross supports and secure the bars to the bed. Lastly, adjust the feet down to the floor and give it a little test push to ensure there's no wiggle with weight applied. The supports are heavy angle bracket, so there's not much give to them - be sure those feet are all the way down or else you'll be putting all of the weight on the wood bed frame pieces and not realized it until you're on the floor. I was replacing a set of 3 cross supports with feet under a king sized bed. Those legs became damaged when the bed was moved, causing the legs to be pulled forward and twisting. Unfortunately, their design meant that there was no way to safely move the bed without fully disassembling it, which I learned the hard way. The new legs have a few advantages. For one, there is the crossing supports between each leg that prevents any front to back twisting which could otherwise cause the supports to turn and snap the screws securing them to the bed frame as happened with my old supports. The adjusting feet also mean that you can adjust the feet up to move the bed and then adjust them back down once it is in place again. Finally, these legs are quite rugged and would take some very serious conditions for them to bend or break. I'd expect the wood frame to break before these cross supports ever gave out. Once fully assembled and secured, this provided a rock solid platform for my mattress. Though this was a replacement after the previous legs failed and just about anything would have been an improvement, these supports are significantly more stable than the old original legs that came with the bed frame were when new. A nice upgrade overall and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Re Glideaway X-Support Bed Frame Support System, GS-3 XS Model Got this for my queen bed and it much improved my bed. Get rid of old fashioned bed slats and get this! The support comes in a compact, fairly heavy package. It is made of sturdy steel angle irons and steel strips, took about fifteen minutes to assemble - easy assembly, you need only a #2 Philips screw driver and maybe a wrench or pliers. Most of the assembly time was fiddling around with the fit and placement. Once adjusted you tighten all fasteners and it is STURDY. It was a real pleasure in this throw away world to get a product that is very sturdy and well made. The fit is PERFECT. The frame can adjust to just what you need in both height and width. Accommodates metal or wood bed frames. If I could deduct 1/2 star for Ease Of Assembly I would only for this small reason: The instructions are a bit wonky, it was a little puzzling to fit the cross pieces (the notches go UP) and the height brackets (you may not need them at all - they extend the height for very tall beds). Also I suggest: after a week check the height adjustment on the three legs. They may "settle in" a bit, especially if you have carpets. A very good bed support frame.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. The directions stink! They are awful. Once you understand how it goes together it's pretty simple. Problem is getting there. took a 20-minute job into two and a half hours.

Although this product refers to use with wood side rails, our queen bed has steel rails. Nevertheless, installation was not difficult by following the easy to read instructions. I did skip the step of drilling the side rails. Instead, the system lies directly on the side rails with the weight of the foundation and mattress holding it in place. The cross bracing in the center maintains the integrity of the 3 cross rails. I had read in a previous review that the instructions were poor and hard to follow, but that's not the case at all. The system is adjustable over a wide height range. Our bed rails sit at the low end of the range and the parts kit includes 3 risers for use with rails at the high end of the range.

My partner and I purchased the Glideway Support System after the existing support legs on our bed set broke off. We tried to get replacement parts from Structube but they weren't much help. We tried DIY fixes with industrial-strength adhesive but the legs wouldn't stay. The Glideway set is just what we were looking for. It took us about 20-30 mins to set-up. It feels sturdy. I can see it lasting us for quite some time. Installing the "cross rails" was confusing. Mine don't line up perfectly. I think that's on me though, not the product.

Such a sturdy frame for our bed with excellent support. I wish this came with our original bed. Such a great solution for wood beds. Love it. A+

The wooden slats didn’t feel very secure so I ordered this set and had it built into the slats so I have both now. Feels safe and secure now, well worth the price!

Used with existing frame, put plywood on top. Great fix.
