KS3 Year 7 Maths Targeted Workbook (with answers)

This is great as I got it for the little ones who are just starting high school this year. It has all the necessary maths work needed for year 7 and is very detailed and laid out quite nicely. Overall I would say this is great for anyone who has children starting high school or even in year 6 that are excelling more than normal!

The answers at the back make checking maths practice much easier for me. My kids found the exercises easy to follow, and there is plenty to work through across different Year 7 topics. I like being able to check their work without having to solve every question myself. A useful book for extra practice alongside schoolwork.

I wanted something for my year 6 child to continue with after his 11 plus exam and this was recommended to me. It’s perfect to keep him doing simple exercises to keep his mind working with what he has learnt so that he will be ready for his SATs. It’s targets for year 7 but if your child had taken the secondary selective test (11 plus) in year 6 then this would be ok got them to do. My son has found it easy so far.

I was looking for a review book that would offer practice for repetition learning of concepts. Usually my child gets 10 questions or so from school per concept and this is not sufficient practice. Each topic has about 1 page with 10-15 problems at most. (For example the BODMAS page has 13 if you count generously). This is not what I was looking for as I was hoping for more of a textbook/homework style format with 20-50 questions for each topic. It seems fine if you just need a page with the concepts reviewed and a few practice questions but doesn’t meet my needs.

Good book for practicing during school holidays. Enough examples explaining the topic and also answers at the back

Para trabajar de forma autónoma, adecuado para year 7. En caso de duda, están las soluciones. No se le hace pesado, le ha gustado mucho para repasar y mejorar la atención para evitar los fallos "tontos" por despistes. Lo recomiendo.

Utile per il ripasso, nelle ultime pag ci sono i risultati e le spiegazioni degli esercizi. Lo consiglio anche per le vacanze estive.

Libro estupendo para iniciarse en las matemáticas y a la misma vez aprender inglés.
