Why don’t screw heads fit through the sleeve ?

Hi, the acrylic frames are protected by a film which should be peeled off (It's just to protect the frames in transit. Once this is done, the screws will fit fine. Kind regards, Richard - Scribble Brands

From looking at the picture it looks as if the standoff already has a screw in it, is that correct? I don't want to attach the standoff to the wall

I'm not sure what a standoff is but my assumption is that the standoff is the screw that attaches the exterior plastic? It's my of a bolt with grooves in the base. I'll take a picture and post it at a later date. I hope this helps answer your question. I paid someone else to install them.
