Love this patch panel. Solid metal frames and punch down ports look great waiting to get my Pro Max switch and finish rewiring my cat5e cables to Cat6a but have tested it and mounted it.

This works perfectly for what I needed. Punch downs were well labeled. Enclosure is sturdy and will keep dust and cables protected. I'm running multiple POE devices with this connecting the cat6 runs to an external building

These are great little self-contained patch panels. They're small, sturdy, and easy to work with. Their small footprint makes them perfect for small IDF cabinets. The enclosure is such that it's often mistaken for a switch by those who are not familiar with IT equipment. I definitely recommend this patch panel for use where space is restricted or in home closets.

For the record, I've worked in many enterprise data centers, many extremely large and some with a wide variety of equipment. The good: I love this punchdown box. It's quality made, has all the bells and whistles I'd want. Versus having to put 24 keystones on, it can save you a chunk of change, save a lot of time, and do it far more reliably. The bad: Unless you can find drawer slides that would allow you to slide it out and have a stable work surface to do your punch downs, it's just not worth the inconvenience for me. I have zero patience for having to have yet another small table to set in front of the rack to be able to work with this. And I've yet to find a set of drawer slides that work with this. Thus, I'm returning it. Improvement point (BLUF & why I took one star off): If TRENDnet integrated a slide with it, it'd be a no-brainer purchase even if you had less keystones (than the 24) to do.

Setting up a patch panel for my ethernet home run. The location is somewhat exposed so wanted a shielded solution. The setup was easy and at a good price. Worked the first time and as advertised. Now my remote mesh access points have a wired backhaul. Perfect!

Same review as for the 12 port unit.. The sturdiness is great when installing as a destination instead of flimsy plastic materials. Also, this panel is great for shielded Cat cable which can be securely mounted. I used it in a Retail store where several cash registers and Credit card pin pads were connected. The only difficulty I saw was mounting these. A template would be great for the hole pattern in the back when mounting the unit to a wall. Great Patch Panel, but use a professional grade Punch tool to attach the wire pairs.

WOW, I rarely if ever get excited about passive network parts but THIS thing has exceeded all expectations. I do many installs of that scale and I am absolutely switching to this model for all new ones :) Proper grounding. Removable cable locks. Cat6A rated. Sturdy build. Easy to protect against dust with some electrical tape. You can screw-through instead of having to carefully place the screws first, and crimp the wires directly while it's already on the wall. Game changer. I love it.

I’m very happy with this patch panel as it was a good price, very easy instructions and fits great where I wanted it.

Appliance seems well enough designed. The tool needed to punch the wiring in is not included, make sure you buy the TC-PDT 110 from the same manufacturer if you want to be able to do something.

Survived a 1 meter drop. Made of solid metal, not too heavy yet feels premium. Perfect for a server rack.
