My wife wanted it, but when she ordered it, I just thought "whatever", but I really love it.We're retired and while we both have smartwatches it's easier and more fun to look at this day-of-the-week clock. It's easy to read from across the room. It's also pretty accurate too, half way between days is midnight, etc.We mounted it just below our kitchen clock, which is a similar style, so it fits right in. And our friends get a kick from it when they notice it.

I bought this clock for my 83 year old mother who sometimes forgets appointments. She always remembers about her scheduled appointment but sometimes gets confused about which day of the week she is is living. I'm sure this will really help give her confidence. I was pleased with the quality of the clock. Although I think this item is overpriced, it is MUCH less expensive than others that I found in various catalogs. It was worth the money if it will help my mother have some piece of mind and not miss her meetings and appointments.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister and her husband, finding humor in the idea of retired folk never knowing what day it was. When they opened it, after the laughter, it became quickly apparent that this was more than a novelty gift. The mahogany frame, clock cover and face are nice quality. The clock is easy to set (recommend to set it at noon for accuracy) and stays true to time. I was so impressed with the clock, I bought another (oak this time) for my own retired self. There are indications halfway through the day space to indicate before and after noon, with a solid line between the days. The arrangement of days around the face is also interesting, with Sunday beginning at the typical twelve o'clock space, so that it makes sense that Wednesday noon is at the bottom of the clock, dividing the week in half. There is surprising symmetry in watching the week go by on the clock, instead of the day; it provides a different perspective to your concept of time.

I never wore a wristwatch. I was too wild for one, bands broke, crystals cracked, and they just did not work for me. I drove for the local public transportation company for 22 years. When I looked at a clock, even on my day off, I saw 11:34, and thought "I should be at...." I retired in 2020 and I do not need or want to know the hour and minute. And it does happen... I missed the trash pickup because I thought it was Friday, or the dentist because I thought it was Sunday. This clock sets me to the day. That's all I want or need. But it does have some detail. The hash marks between the days is midnight, and the small hash mark on the day is noon. You can extrapolate the rough time by noting the hand is just past noon, or halfway between noon and midnight = 6PM. This was just supposed to be a joke for retirement, but I think it is absolutely wonderful. Thank you DayClocks. A novelty that is functional.
