Worked great!
It was a really awesome tool very easy to use. It helped me get the look that I wanted on this cake in smoothout really nicely. Everyone was thrilled when I saw this cake. Highly recommend.

Great for working wtih Royal Icing
I use this to smooth out my layers for stencils on cookies. I love that it is stainless steel and has a nice straight edge and it is wide enough to handle larger sized stencils. It feels comfortable in the hands and cleans up easily as well.

Makes things smoother....
I bought this to make it faster to make my cakes. I have never had one. I decided on this one because of the reviews and it was prime. I wanted to use it with my new cake turn table this week. I used them both and feel like it did make my cakes better and faster. I only used this on the crumb layer because I would cover the most of the rest with flowers. So I can not say I used it to perfection for the sides. But I did get them quite smooth. Even better than my old way of doing it with the Wilton spatula. I do agree that this won't be good for cakes that are very tall. But for my regular 8 inch rounds, etc - it will do just fine. The turn table made it even better I think. I can't wait to make another cake and use my new tools. This smoother is worth the money and the time to learn to use it. I am happy to have this smoother.

Wilton quality
Goldilocks scraper! It’s nice and heavy, very smooth, well polished, holder is grippy. I would say it’s worth the extra price, but it didn’t cost anymore than the then cheap stuff out there. I’m never disappointed because I always buy Wilton cake tools. A+++++

Bought this as a gift for my mother for Christmas, she has recently got into decorative baking and this works perfectly! Helps smooth her cakes exactly as she wants and the results are outstanding, I would definitely recommend this product for any baker!

The smoother has curved corners. Not ideal for getting a sharp finish on your icing at the bottom of the cake. Didn't realise until the first time I used it. I have ordered a new cake scraper with square corners. I won't use this one now so it was a waste of money.
