Comfortable and secure and works a treat.
Really impressed with this Halti harness. Definitely worth giving it ago if your pooch pulls a lot. It will not stop them completely as training is the only way but it does help out with the pulling side. I have a rescue Posavac hound who has a strong prey drive and I have been working on the pulling quite a bit but when she sees a squirrel everything goes out of the window. I used the Halti for the first time today and was amazed how the pulling eased up. It didn’t stop it completely but definitely eased on my arm and body. Even after spotting a squirrel. More comfortable for her than the previous one of s different brand. Bought a Medium and it nearly fitted out of the packet with minimal adjustment. Lots of stretch and secure and I think I will wash it in a pillow case save any damage by the metal clip rings to my washing machine. Day 2 walk, really impressed with this style harness. It really made the walk more enjoyable and comfortable for both of us. Because she is a hound with a big prey drive it was always gong to be hard because their brain switches off to the outside world and only the prey exists which happened a few times today. It so much more manageable with the Halti. When she is just sniffing she does not really pull at all which has left me totally overwhelmed. If anyone is thinking about buying one I hope this review has made your mind up.

This works brilliantly
Absolutely thrilled with the effect this harness has had on our young terrier mix, he isn't particularly strong but the constant pulling made lead walking unpleasant. He is quite a highly strung dog who's suspicious of anything 'new'' so I expected him to be freaked out by the new harness, he was the opposite... Calm, no pulling and a please to walk him, it really was an instant, vast, improvement. This bit of kit is a kind, comfortable and gentle training aid, I'd highly recommended to anyone who's dog pulls when on a normal lead or harness. It really works !

Doesn't stop pulling but does help.
This harness doesn't stop the pulling but it does reduce it. I was looking for a harness to help my feral 7 month,14kg pup stop pulling. I walk my 5kg dog and pup together and I was just so fed up with being dragged and my little dog being dragged with me. I just felt so disheveled and exhausted after I walked him. I trained my 52kg Akita and she was a handful at first, but this boy is just relentless. I already had a "no pull harness" (and I say that loosely) but it just wasn't cutting it, so I jumped on amazon to see what i could find. I came across the halti harness and thought that may do the trick. I looked at others but they were more of a string type and we feared that those harness would cut into his armpits. I measured my pup, looked on the halti harness diagram and choose the harness size to suit him, which was medium and it fits perfectly. The first time that I put it on my pup, he turned to me and gave me a look to say 'what's going on?", he wasn't overly impressed but carried on trying to pull but not getting as far as he did when he wore his previous harness. As a bonus I now feel that my arm is not going to be ripped out of it's socket everytime i take him for a walk. We originally wanted to change his harness, from the ones that go over the head and clip both sides of the body, as with this type of harness when he was pulling the front of it kept riding up to his throat and putting pressure on it, plus it didn't stop him pulling. With the halti harness it sits comfortably in the right place. It also has a soft tube (although it moves) that covers the straps going under the armpits. The glider can be a bit fiddly/frustrating, especially when you have an impatient pup, but the straps are nice, thick and sturdy and do not cut into him. It has a clip at the front and one on the top and also a little grasp finger hoop (well I think that's what it is??) It has a padded chest piece and the quality is nice. When we go out for a walk we put his training halti lead on, when we get to the field we put his 10m flexi lead on to let him have a run. We were concerned that it would hurt him when he got to the end of the 10 metres which he usually does as full speed, but seems absolutely fine with it and carries on chasing and playing with his sister. On the walk back, I put back on his halti lead, but instead of having it in my hand I put it across my body, wearing it on the opposite shoulder to the side my pup is on and I clip both clips to the top of the harness. This is when training him becomes easier, I have a hand free to give him treats, he is tired from a run (more likely to listen) and it's a bit harder for him to pull a (--)kg person, so he's right by my side, obviously I stop with him when he wants to sniff, etc. It makes a more of a pleasurable walk. To help with his loose lead/stop pulling training, I do try and wear him out with a flirt pole in the garden for around 10 minutes, this helps him concentrate a bit more and we also use threshold training with him before a walk, for him to have a calmer state of mind. Time will tell with his training, but this harness gets a thumbs/paws up

The best harness I've ever bought.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been through more harnesses than I can count. This is by far the most effective one. My dog used to pull constantly on walks but this harness has made a huge difference straight away. It gently discourages pulling without causing any discomfort making walks much more enjoyable for both of us. The fit is excellent, it's easy to adjust and it feels really secure while still allowing plenty of freedom of movement. The quality is fantastic and it seems very well made. If you're struggling with a dog that pulls on the lead, I honestly can't recommend this harness enough. Worth every penny! 🐾❤️

Good quality but awkward design
This is OK if you never let your dog off the lead. It's good quality and matches the training lead (which is something I do recommend and would give five stars to). There are two problems with the harness. Firstly, it's a faff to put on and off, and there are not enough buckles, and my dog dislikes the on/off process much more than with her standard harness. Secondly, there is a long adjustable piece which cannot be taken off and which flaps around if the dog is off the lead, creating a trip/snag hazard, so you have to take the whole harness off to let your dog run free.

Yes, recommend but it will take a while to make it work.
Great harnesses, I definitely recommend it. However I have to strap both front and top of the harnesses, like on the picture to make it work better, or i have to pull very tight on the top to make him stop which I believe is causing dog a pain when harness squeeze him, that's why he stops. The lead strapped in front is a bit in his leg way as he walks, so that slows him down, but works very well, if you want dog walk next to you. If your dog pulls hard you'll still need a lot of strength to hold back but eventually works better then other products. I've been using this harnesses more then year now and is one of my most favourite and still like in new condition. It won't stop your dog pulling but make it for you easier to work with him against pulling, we eventually find our own way and this one with halti double lead works best and my dog actually is pulling less after a year, but I could train him better with this harness and he was listening better then with regular harness.

Best harness ever
Best harness I've ever bought for my 2 1/2 Yr old sprockador and I've purchased a few. No constant battles and chasing her around the house to put her harness on before her walks. She sits and let's me put it on without issues. Pulling. What a game changer. Having a dog with a high prey drive, it felt like she'd dislocate my shoulder or have me falling head over heels chasing anything that moves. As soon as she pulls with the halti, it tightens around her legs and she stops pulling. With the additional chest attachment too she's automatically pulled away from the direction she's pulling too so loses her focus. The dual attachment took some getting used to with regards to how I use it but without doubt I'll never go back.

Good for walking on lead, but minor design bugs
Generally a great no-pull harness for lead walking. Has stopped my arms being nearly pulled out of their sockets when my 15kg spaniel suddenly darts left or right to follow a scent! Makes long leads walks or days out in ‘lead only’ places, much more pleasurable. My dog is generally well trained and obedient, but despite persisting with various training methods, when he’s ’in his nose’ somewhere new, he’s off like a rocket. Only downside is 3 things, hence only 4 stars, not 5. 1. The harness has no quick snap release option, so you have to loosen the back and then lift both loops over the dog’s head and make sure they step out of the padded underarm straps. 2. The back connector straps to the lead are quite long (will lay the length of my spaniel’s back), so you have to remove the harness if you want them to be off lead for a run or it will flap about around their legs. I get this, as a dog’s legs and shoulders shouldn’t really be impeded by a harness when running and jumping, but it also means there is quite a an extra bit on lead length when it’s attached, which might reduce some control, as it does loosen a bit during use. 3. There is no D ring attachment on the back should you want to use it to secure your dog in the car to a seatbelt style clip. If you attach it to the end of the back strap, it may give too much movement and not enough ‘stop’ ability under sudden braking. It would be better if this part was adjustable in length to allow for this, as not all dogs’ back length are the same and because of this, I have to use a different harness in the car. However, despite these points, it is a good harness and the front loop option with the double clip ends on the lead is perfect for gentle, firm control without dragging your dog back to your side.

Şu an köpeğimin ön tarafında tasma izi oluştu. Daha seyrek ve kısa tüyler var artık.

Good harness
Have 2 big dogs, that like pulling and these harnesses have helped. I have noticed for regular pulling they do help, but when they get too excited, they don’t completely stop them, but that is probably more my fault and I think as they mature and with more training on my part.. overall I am very happy with these harnesses and they do help.

Efficacité relative
Je n'ai pas vu d’efficacité supérieure à mon harnais anti traction habituel qui reste plus facile à mettre et retirer
