Bosch HS1412 Sds-Plus 1/8" Mortar Knife Chisel

This removes soft and ready-to-replace mortar very easily. It tends to be easy to control when getting closer to harder mortar, but you can move through it if you are looking to remove all mortar. Much more useable and safe that regular SDS chisel.

Works great

Great little 6” long chipping blade to use with my SDS plus drill and hammer Bosch Bulldog. I used it to remove cracked grout between cinder locks and bricks and prep the wall for fill in repairs. It worked really good, super durable with minimal wear after use. The blade section is as described 1/8” thick by 2 1/4” long has a bit of an angle, not sharp as a typical chisel but it’s small enough to fit in between the bricks and chip away old grout and remove it without damaging the bricks, one row at a time. It’s a keeper with my SDS Plus hammer drill attachments. Thanks

There were a couple of different sizes of mortar knife available. I opted for the thinnest one, hoping it would work ok on thicker mortar joints. I found it worked perfectly on every thickness of mortar joint. It was effortless to use this to clear out mortar on both the vertical and horizontal joints.
