Inflatable Ride-on Bouncy Animal Hopper – Horse, Cow or Unicorn – Kids Space Hopper Bouncer with Hand Pump – Jumping Toy for Indoor/Outdoor Play

I wanted to get the Rody horse for my daughter, but I'm too cheap. I went with this one instead and I am not disappointed. My husband said it was really easy to inflate. He tried to kind of "overinflate" it so that it would stay stiff in the legs when she sat on it, based on previous reviewers recommendations. Definitely do that. The first time, it was too soft, so I told him to try to put more air in; he did and it works perfect. My daughter is 2.5 years old and an average height and build. This is a good size for her. She hasn't figured out how to actually hop on it, but she loves using it as a seat at "her" table (an end table). Sometimes she lays on it by sitting on it backwards and leaning her head back between it's ears. This horse is sturdy, does not have a smell and is relatively cute...or at least not an eyesore. It does come with a sort of oily coating, which is common for this sort of thing from the factory. Products like this can generate a lot of static while going over conveyors so the factory sprays it to keep static down. Easy fix, just wipe it down after you inflate it. We gave this to her on Christmas Day, as her main present, so we haven't had it long, but as of right now, we are very happy with it and hope to have it around for at least a year or so until she outgrows it. Edited: July 2015 Well, my daughter has learned how to hop on this thing now. It is still her favorite toy (other than her two favorite stuffed animals that are her babies). She sometimes makes me bring this with us when we run errands, although it stays in the car. A family friend's eight year old son (a big boy) hopped around on it, and though he was way too big, it held up just fine. As of yet, we have not had to add any more air to it, as it has remained nice and fluffy and full. My daughter uses it inside and outside on the gravel driveway. It gets dirty, but a wet rag makes for an easy clean-up. Edited June 2016: A sad day has arrived in our house. My daughter has used her scissors and cut the ear. I attempted to patch it up with some stretchy vinyl repair tape and it held fine. Then, she cut the other tip of the ear, almost off. I was not able to successfully repair that ear. The tape worked great....just not on the ear with all those corners and curves. We had to quietly make the horse disappear one night. It was worth the cost for us, though. She had a good year-and-a-half use out of it, and it would have lived on, had she not snuck scissors into her playroom!

I am very happy with this purchase. This looked cute online but it is cuter in person. Our little chubby blue horse is a hit with my son. Also, this looks to me the best price online; needless to say much cheaper than those selling in shops. It's a great deal for something that can bring children the real fun, for now too many toys a child would have and only few of them are used often. Unlike other expensive and easy broken toys, this one is very durable. It is much used by my 3 years son in all way around. It has been kicked around, thrown up and down, dragged along stoned path, bounced on lawn, and even on concrete and paving stones. To my surprise, it just stays as it is, save for a few dirt marks you would get from outside. To clean it is super easy, wash it with running water, the dirt would come off completely, dry with cloth then, it becomes shiny and clean again for indoors use. The rubber is a bit strong-smelling when opening the wrapper. But once the horse is inflated, the smell becomes faint. Being left outdoors overnight, the smell pretty much disappears. After used a few times, the smell is completely gone. This is just the same experience I had for the old one, which is twice as expensive as this. Package includes a handy pump that does the job nicely. But inflating the horse is a little tricky; you've got to close the air hole with the white plug quickly after it is fully inflated, or the air would escape from the air hole. Another solution is to inflate the horse more than enough before replacing the plug to prevent air to escape, or prepared to plug the hole really fast after fully inflation. Good side is once the inflation is done and air stopper is inserted into the air hole, the air won't lose at all and the hopper doesn't change the shape. Oh, yes, before pumping, remember to remove the white plug first, as the horse is delivered with white plug inserted into the air hole already. The white plug is the air stopper. Thus, remove the plug in order to pump, and replace it to close the air hole after hopper is fully inflated. It would be an even better product if it came with the color box. When I receive the parcel, the horse is wrapped in a thick plastic bag sitting in an Amazon brown box, not contained in a color box as those in stores. It would be a super gift all year round if it is packed in a nice color box. But this may explain why its price is so good. This hopper was delivered to me by Amazon promptly and the box arrives in good condition. The package was a little huge, but that's better than them stuffing it in a too-small box. The order was fulfilled by Amazon so shipping was fast, as usual. Box contains a horse, a pump, and a spare white plug. The horse has released my son's energy, and trained his sense of balance. It has exceeded my expectations. Value for money.

This is a very well thought out product!! The horsey is pretty heavy duty rubber and comes with it's own pump and replacement plugs in case you lose one! Using the supplied pump it inflates very quickly, took me about 2 min of rather lazy pumping to get it inflated enough that it was usable. We actually ended up buying three of these. My wife and I have 3 kids, a 4 year old and twin 19 month olds (yes, it's very chaotic) so anything we can find that will run them around and tire them out is great! So we bought two red Hoppers and one blue Hopper. Our 4 year old absolutely loves his! His a bit tall for his age so his legs kinda jut out to the sides as he's using it but, whatever. So, once we saw my son take off like a shot on his we thought "We're golden for at least 10 min once we get the twins on theirs!". So I quickly inflated the other two, and we joyfully presented them to the twins. The both immediately screamed in terror and clawed their way up my legs. If you have never had a combined 50 lbs of screaming toddlers scaling your legs in a frenzy of fear, I have to tell you....it ain't fun! We are slowly trying to acclimate them to the Hoppers but so far (1 week) they haven't taken to them. Maybe it's something about the eyes? Anyhoo, I think that's a particular quirk of our children and not a problem with the Hoppers themselves. Overall these are great active toys for kids at a great price. If you have relatively skittish kids maybe wait until 2 to 3 years? Like I said my 4 year old loves his but he will probably outgrow it in a couple of months.

This bouncer is a lot of fun for my toddler and easy to wipe down after playtime — great for indoor use! The rubber has a nice grippy texture that helps prevent slipping, and overall it feels durable. That said, it doesn’t seem to stay fully inflated over time (not horrible, and not enough to find the pump and get it back out though). It’s not totally flat, but it definitely loses some firmness between uses. Also, while the texture is great for grip, I could see it potentially causing some chafing if used with shorts on — though we haven’t had any issues yet. Still a great buy for the price and a hit with little ones!

It’s perfect for a 2 year old. He loves bouncing all over the living room

Just got this for my about to be 18 month old. Last month I got a hopper ball for my 3 year old daughter and it turns out my 18 month old liked it just as much as, if not more than her. Unfortunately, he can't bounce on the hopper ball by himself yet (I sit him on it and bounce him while I hold him), so I thought this horse would be a great alternative because he could bounce on it himself. He has a difficult time getting on and off of it, usually it involves him losing his balance and falling, but he is getting the hang of it. Once he is on it, he can hold on to the horse's ears and bounce on his own. He LOVES it! He giggles and smiles from ear to ear while he bounces! I've noticed he doesn't bounce quite as much as compared to the hopper ball, but that could be that he is still figuring it out and doesn't want to fall. My 3 year old likes this horse, too. She hops around with the horse taking it wherever she goes. This horse is designed to be stationary, but that doesn't stop her. I can't compare the quality to other hopper toys like this, but this seems to be very good quality. While I didn't put my entire weight on it, I bounced on it (I weigh about 140) for a minute and it seemed to be fine and durable.

This is rugged and tons of fun for the kid and very easy to get on and off for him
