First off, these are compression clothes, if you aren’t reasonably fit for your height, BMI, then you may have a tough time getting into & out of them, especially the shirt. Consider a larger size. Overall the quality & fit is excellent. I was a little concerned that at the price point that they would not offer the compression that I was after, but that concern was unfounded. The cut, seams and fit are excellent with no binding, chafing or creeping after extended wear & vigorous activity. The shirt has a grip coating inside the bottom hem. It will stay in place on your skin or probably some other material but it doesn’t grip well to the matching bottoms. Not a problem as it will end up at your belt line and stay there. The shirt is cut long, around 4”-6” below your belt line. The breathability is exceptional, any better and you’ve have to run naked. Actually these are better than naked because they evaporate the sweat instead of it pouring off your body. If you are running or working out in front of a fan, you can feel the air against your bare skin. I’ve run several 5K’s in typical Florida heat, in both the shorts, & full length pants and of course the shirt. I opt for the long pants as they provide support for my calves and they are actually cooler due to the improved sweat evaporation than just the shorts. I’m considering going with the long sleeve shirt for the same reason. Running solitary, I wouldn’t worry too much about modesty, the bottoms do a good job keeping everything in place and smoothed. If you run an event or work out around other people, then you might want to wear some running shorts. Be sure to find the lightest, thinest, no liner, side cut shorts that you can, anything worn over (or under) will feel hot. Same if you decide to wear something over the shirt. My first time out, I wore a t-shirt which was a mistake. I won’t wear anything but the CompressionZ layer unless I need the shorts for modesty. I didn’t know quite what to expect in the way of performance but afterwards it was immediately apparent. Since I mainly wear these while running, keeping your muscles supported & keeping them from jarring/moving/flopping when they relax while your feet pound the pavement makes a tremendous difference in recovery afterwards. This was most evident in my calves. With my calve muscles slamming with each step, they’d ache for days afterwards. Keeping them supported prevents that pain and I can easily run consecutive days. The same is true for your pects, oblique back muscles, glutes etc. Overall, I’m very pleased wth the product, a few more color selections would be really nice. Since I work out every day, I reordered several more sets to get me between washings. A great value in compression wear.

These are true compression shorts, not just form-fitting shorts. As such they fit very tight so I recommend ordering a size up from what you'd normally order. I'm a 34 waist, so right in the middle of the large size range. However, I ordered the XL and they fit just right. I doubt I could have gotten the large on, in fact, based on how the XL fits. One thing I wanted was a pair of shorts that would securely hold my phone while running, and the pockets on these do that well. They are large enough for my Samsung Galaxy phone and secure enough that I don't worry about it falling out. They're very comfortable to run in, no binding or chafing. They fit like a second skin. There is a seam in the center of the seat which I was a bit concerned about but the way these fit, that's not been a problem. These shorts are slightly revealing so they're probably not a stand-alone running solution. I wear them under a pair of lightweight nylon shorts and they work great that way. I'm planning to order another pair so that I always have a clean pair ready.

Pretty much any of the CompressionZ shorts are a solid choice. I’ve been wearing their gear for years, and they’re an awesome company with quality stuff. (I'm not getting paid to say that) If you’re not sure what size to get, I’d lean toward the larger size. The 8” Polyester Pro pair feels a bit thicker than the 6”/9” Nylon Original shorts, but I keep both in rotation. TL;DR: I’ve never been disappointed by a random CompressionZ impulse buy. If they ever make a Nylon Pro version of the shorts, I’ll probably buy those too. 🤫

I am impressed with the personalization of service. These compression shorts broke my heart. They broke my heart, because now I have to throw away all of my other Under Armour shorts after using your Compressionz. I want to karate chop Under Armour to the throat for making me believe I was paying for high quality compression shorts. After wearing Compressionz, I noticed an immediate difference in construction, quality and thickness of fabric in other brands. If I'm going to be completely honest, I’m a 53 year old, 6’2 , 248 lbs overweight guy desperately trying to get back into shape before my wedding in April of this year. Since using Compressionz shorts daily for two weeks, I can say without hesitation it’s been the best investment of any health product I have ever made. Great fit, very comfortable and they actually do what they say they will do which is promotes faster muscle recovery. I hate doing leg work, squats and lunges are sadistic and the soreness which accompanies leg work is nightmarish. I would rather have my eyes rinsed with lemon juice than go through the recovery stages of a leg workout. Compressionz have eliminated that fear by removing the pain. I actually run now.. not far mind you and not fast, but I run. My upper thighs which would make me wince after a workout have not caused me one ounce of regret. My calves are another story, maybe I should try the socks or the pants, though the pants seem to be a lot of work to put on or take off. Under Armour.. shame on you! I want my money back on all the overpriced granny panties you have been selling me under the guise of compressions shorts. I loved these so much I just purchased three more because at the rate I was going I would wear the first pair out in no time... if that is even possible.

I've done a few squatting and deadlifting sessions with these and so far they are holding up. They provide great compression and warmth for my hips and glute muscles. The material isn't suffocating and it conforms naturally to your body as you exercise, without riding up. They are very comfortable and are not distracting at all. Basically what compression material should do. Small caveat -- these are labeled as boxer briefs, but they are more along the lines of compression tights. Because they don't provide room for your manhood, and should be worn with a real set of compression briefs underneath for that support. I use the Adidas Sport Performances, they work decently for this. My only concern is the stitching quality. First time I tried putting them on I heard some of the stitches break around the waist. Second time it did the same. It hasn't affected the tightness or compression, however. And nothing has torn during my workouts. But you have to be very careful when putting these on, especially if you have a big ass. Try sticking your feet through each legging, bring the tights up to your knees, then grip and pull each legging up your quads before you bring the pant over your butt as to minimize any excess force at the waistband. This seems to do the trick. I may buy another pair when the price drops because I've bought compression tights with better stitching quality than these for less. Decent overall. I'm 180lbs with a 32" waist and a big butt and I ordered the mediums.

I am a size 35" so I ordered the next size group ( large at 35" to 38") so as to be on the lower end of the pants size. I tried them on and, omigod! They are still very tight on the waist. I don't have a beer gut and hoped that I would get used to them for my impending mud obstacle race. I have tried in vain to stretch them somewhat to no avail and unfortunately I have disposed of the packaging as I did not anticipate any long term discomfort. So essentially, despite the right sizing based on the information given, I suffer from horrible stomach pains very soon after wearing these. I thought I would be kidding myself if I thought I was a mighty XL boy but this seems to be the case! I am not in a position to buy another pair and the current pair have been worn and washed a couple of times now so I am in a bit of a quandary to be honest. Material is good, does not lose support throughout the day wearing them unlike other products out there. Fit is nice. Order your normal size. Order one size smaller for more support. Will be ordering more.
